The Love of the Father, Immersion Revival, and Fire of the Spirit | Shavuot 2019/5779

“Jesus said to my spirit, ‘I am coming with vengeance for My Bride.’”—Pastor Todd Smith, Christ Fellowship Church

Recently, Curt Landry and Pastor Todd Smith sat down for a candid interview live on Facebook. If you missed this powerful prophetic word, you can listen HERE.

Pastor Todd Smith and his wife, Karen, will be joining Curt Landry at Curt Landry Ministries at House of David on June 7th and 8th for a Shavuot celebration.

Something powerful is happening in our atmosphere, and the Church needs an awakening. Following Passover, we begin counting down the Omer to Shavuot.

“Shavuot is really the completion of Passover.”—Curt Landry

During the interview, Curt Landry explains the revelation he received from the Lord about the power of immersion—with miracles, signs, and wonders that accompany it. “There is going to be an experience of the love of the Father revival and an increase moving forward in this covenant act of Jew and Gentile coming together in this covenant act during Shavuot.”

Freedom from Slavery, Immersion, and the Receiving of Instruction by the Fire of the Spirit

After the Israelites were freed from Egyptian slavery at Passover, they passed through the Red Sea as a type of immersion. They spent 40 more days at the foot of Mount Sinai awaiting instruction. We passed through the mikvah waters at the Passover immersion and now await a word from the Lord at Shavuot.

…Israel had gone out of the land of Egypt, on the same day, they came to the Wilderness of Sinai… And Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying, ‘Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel: “You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself. Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation…”’”—Exodus 19: 1, 3-6

The Israelites spent time cleansing themselves so that they would be “ready for the third-day.” We cleansed ourselves in the pool of immersion and, after counting down the Omer, are ready to receive fresh word. We are in the third-day!

Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes. And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.’”—Exodus 19:10-11

On the third-day the Lord descended like fire.

Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire...”—Exodus 19:18

The instructions were written on stone.

Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.’”—Exodus 24:12

Immersion Miracles | An Encounter with the Lord

During Shavuot immersions, something happens in the water. There is a Kingdom connection and an encounter with Yeshua.

Pastor Todd explains how he received revelation about the power of immersion.

In February, God filled our sanctuary (at Christ Fellowship Church) …but about a month before we were fasting and seeking the face of God. One afternoon I had my first open vision. I saw the baptistry (though empty in the physical) was full of water and fire rested on the top of the water, much like gasoline burns on the top of water. It lasted for about 10 seconds. The Lord spoke to my heart and said, ‘Todd, I’m going to baptize people with the Holy Spirit’s fire.’

“Shortly after, the glory of God filled our building we started spontaneously baptizing people, immersing them. And the fire of God hit people and they were slain in the spirit. People were miraculously healed—cancers, scars, and mental illnesses melted away in the water. The Lord was and continues to meet people in the water.”

Are You Ready to Experience an Immersion Revival?

The Lord is coming for His Bride. He is cleansing us to empower, prepare, mold, and shape us—wrapping us in His arms. He is bringing the One New Man—the Jew and Gentile Church—together. Something is shaking in the spiritual realm and will break loose over our nation.

The immersion of Yeshua was when the priesthood in the order of Melchizedek started—this is what we operate out of today. When you are immersed in the waters, it activates your inheritance. Let us welcome the instruction of fire into our circumcised hearts—once being stone and now turned to flesh—so that we can take dominion and operate in the seven mountains as the One New Man.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”—Ephesians 3:20-21
