Plant Seeds of Hope. Plant for the Future.
February (and the Hebrew month of Shevat) reminds us of hope, future, and legacy. We prepare our hearts to honor and celebrate Tu BiShvat, which is the Jewish New Year for trees, and at the heart of this holiday is the theme of restoration!
Trust God’s Promise of Provision for the Restoration
Do you trust God’s providence, even when you can’t see it? It is challenging to believe God’s Word and promises before they manifest in His perfect timing. But He is calling you to step out in faith.
This month, trust…
- God for provision
- God’s perfect timing
- God is working in and through all things for a greater purpose
- God to empower you in this coming season
Receive God’s Wisdom for the Restoration
Esther had divine wisdom and discernment to hide her identity as a Jew until it was time for her Kingdom assignment to be revealed, which ultimately led to the restoration of her people.
Ask the Lord about the areas He wants to sharpen in you and your identity to prepare you in His perfect timing for your Kingdom assignment and restoration.
Ask Him for…
- Courage, patience, courage, boldness, and integrity
- The heart to love Israel as He does and others selflessly
- A heart that submits to His ways and humbly obeys
- The wisdom to be a team player and to lead others well
Trust God will deliver on His promise in His time. Just as He gave Esther precisely what she needed— stunning beauty, courage, humility, and faithfulness—to be established as queen for a greater purpose, He is giving you what you need to be established for a greater purpose.
The greater purpose is restoring His people—all people—and reconciling us as One New Man in Yeshua for His glory.
Plant for Hope and a Future
As God’s prophetic vision for Israel is restoration, this is also His prophetic vision for you and your family. God is in the business of restoration, and as we believe and partner with Him in His business, we must also adopt His ways of thinking.
He is an eternal God, so His thoughts are high above ours. His thoughts are for you, your children, and your children’s children—for legacy.
When we ask for wisdom to love, submit, lead, and exhibit courage and boldness, He promises to give them generously (James 1:5). Yet, we have a choice to sow the seeds we are given or not.

We can ask and be willing to sow—that is, to speak and activate according to God’s Word—or we forfeit the promise of manifestation in our own lives and the lives of the generations to follow.
The Father’s heart is always centered on restoration. He promises the “restoration of all things” (Acts 3:21). Yet, it is our choice how we interact and sow into this promise.
Will we choose to steward creation well? Will we choose to sow and speak according to God’s ways, not just to see fruit in our own lives but in the generations to come?
There is a traditional Jewish saying, “You plant a vineyard for your children and an olive grove for your children’s children.”
Woven deep with the fabric of the Hebraic mindset is legacy. We are to plant for hope and the future, sowing our time, words, resources, finances, and energy into something and someone that comes after us.
The Father’s love is everlasting, His plans prevail, and He invites us—you—to be a part of the legacy, of the restorative work He is doing in families, communities, nations, and Israel. Decide today to respond with a “Yes” to sowing into Israel’s future and yours.
Believe and activate God’s promises.
