Cast Out Fear by Pulling God’s Word from Heaven to Earth

The season we are in is by no accident. God is fully aware of the condition of the world, our nation, our families, and our minds. It is time we pull God’s Word from Heaven and cast out fear during this season!

There is a reason for this time, even if we cannot yet see it. This year, being 2020, is a time of bringing everything into 20/20 vision. The Lord is refocusing, reshaping, and reviving what has been oppressed and stolen for far too long.

He is doing a new thing, and there is no room for doubt and unbelief in it. The enemy has stolen too much of your liberty. Therefore, you must learn to cast out fear by the Word of God.

“Everything that has been done is in the darkness is coming to light in this season.”—Curt Landry

5 Principles that Empower You to Cast Out Fear

1. The Principle of Identity

Not only is this principle about understanding your identity in Christ as a co-heir, but also about identifying how the spirit of fear gained access to your thought life.  Ask yourself, “What emotions are currently driving my actions? How am I responding to things in my life?”

If your soul—that is your mind, will, and emotions—are consumed with anger, unbelief, or hopelessness, then fear is likely to be the spiritual root cause. Fear is the most used tactic of the enemy to steal your liberty, inheritance, confidence, courage, and calmness.

2. The Principle of God’s Word

There are 6 pieces to the armor of God mentioned in Ephesians 6. And out of those, there is only one offensive weapon—the Word. The Word is a weapon that is so sharp and deadly to the enemy, that it cuts to the heart with exact precision (Hebrews 4:12).

Just as Yeshua used the Word to conquer the enemy, so can you (Matthew 4:1-11).

3. The Principle of a Repentance

The Bible says that those with clean hands and a pure heart may come up the holy mountain of Zion (Psalm 24:3-5). Because the blood of Yeshua purifies you, you can approach the throne of grace. However, the devil can have something held against you in the courts of Heaven.

Therefore, repent and declare the purifying blood of the Lamb so that your prayers are not hindered (1 Peter 3:7). This gives you full access to the blessings that are yours in the heavenly realm (Ephesians 1:3).

4. The Principle of Proclamation

When you proclaim the Word out loud and agree with it, it carries authority in the heavenly realm. It is the way things of Heaven are manifested. The Lord has assigned ministering angels to you. They are always with you, and when you pull God’s Word down from Heaven to earth, they obey His Word.

“Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.”—Psalm 103:20

5. The Principle of Battling in the Opposite Spirit

We will unpack this more below. In short, when the spirit of fear consumes you, there is a lack of trust. Therefore, you must battle with the spirit of trust and stand firm in the Word. Let’s discover how to do that!

How to Cast Out Fear by Pulling God’s Word from Heaven to Earth

Step 1: Be in the Word. Jesus said that His Word is spirit and life. When the enemy is in your face, you need to call upon the sword of the Spirit. But you must know the Word. Know it, study it, meditate on it so that you can use it in battle.

Step 2: Find scripture that pertains to the problem and proclaim it. When you use the Word, it will not come back null and void. As mentioned before, Jesus used the Word in the desert to cast out fear and put the enemy in his place. He did not engage in justifications or arguments.

He simply stated, “It is written…” In just 3 statements, Satan left. God’s Word said he had to (James 4:7)!

Step 3: Stay calm and have a teachable heart. Every time the spirit of fear rears its ugly head again, stay calm, and stand in the truth you found in step 2. The Bible says the enemy accuses us day and night (Revelation 12:10).

Satan will use the spirit of fear on you again and again, but you do not have to choose to align with it. Stand in the truth until the victory is yours. Ask the Holy Spirit what He wants you to learn from the experience and have a teachable heart.

Victory is Yours When You Cast Out Fear with God’s Word!

When you cast out fear, it opens the doors of Heaven. Remember, your heavenly Father has blessed you with every spiritual blessing in Christ—not some, not part, but ALL!

  • The Blessing of Confidence, Courage, and Calmness

“And Moses said to the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.’”—Exodus 14:13

  • The Blessing of Clarity of Vision

“And the Lord said to Moses, ‘Why do you cry to Me? Tell the children of Israel to go forward.’”—Exodus 14:15

  • The Blessing of Competency

“Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.”—Exodus 14:21-22

  • The Blessing of Consecration

“You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”—John 15:3-4

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”—John 17:17

Be Victorious!

Fear is cast out when we cut to the root of the matter with God’s Word. Never let the enemy tell you that you do not have a right to cast out fear. He is the father of lies.

Instead, proclaim the victory that is yours! Use God’s Word to battle and cast out fear today. Stand in it and agree with it—pulling God’s promises down from Heaven so that they are manifested on earth.
