Passover 5778/2018 and Restoration

Passover is one of the most important times for us at Curt Landry Ministries. It is an appointed time that we meditate on—remembering the Lord’s promises of protection and provision. We reflect on the mighty acts He performed to bring the Hebrew nation out of Egyptian slavery. We also consider His provided protection in our everyday lives and anticipate His abundant blessings in our future.

Restoration

“…times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.”—Acts 3:19-21

There is a power of reconciliation among nations this Passover 5778. God is calling together the nations. The Good Shepard is calling to His sheep. They hear His voice and know that He is separating the sheep from the goats.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”—John 10:27

The Lord wants the Body of Christ to come together for His glory. This is a powerful call!

“For I know their works and their thoughts. It shall be that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and see My glory.”—Isaiah 66:18

Special Guests for Passover 5778

Curt Landry Ministries is excited to join with special guests, Dr. Alveda King, Dr. Morris Ruddick, Joan Swallow, and Kamal Saleem as we come together on March 30th. These special guests will share insights into their individual calls of reconciliation, as well as share their hopes and dreams for the future of the nations.

Dr. Alveda King—  Dr. King’s vision is for the Body of Christ to set aside biases and partialities that are derived from personal thoughts or experiences, and instead, look to the Word of God to shape their worldview. She founded Alveda King Ministries on this biblical principle.

Possibly more important today compared to any other time in Church history, Believers must stand together, undivided, and rooted in biblical practices and values.

“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”—Colossians 3:12-14

The Church must be a model of diversity to show that God’s ultimate plan for His people can truly exist here on earth.

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.”—2 Corinthians 5:20

In this way, churches can become a place where people from all backgrounds, and all walks of life, are united together.

Understanding this requires understanding that we are the Body—that each part serves a purpose for the Kingdom of God.

“Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.”—1 Corinthians 12:27-28

Dr. Morris Ruddick— Dr. Ruddick, founder of Global Initiatives Foundation, has brought together business and charity as a way to facilitate economic community in challenging environments. At first glance, business and charity do not fit together. However, when these two institutions are brought together and aligned with God’s Kingdom, powerful change and reconciliation occur.

“A good man deals graciously and lends; he will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.”—Psalm 112:5-6

Through Morris and Carol Ruddick’s experience and education, they have been able to reach thousands in need of charitable and humanitarian aid, as well as those who need medical relief and trauma counseling.

Global Initiatives Foundation has allowed the Ruddick’s to serve hands-on in Russia, Belarus, Ethiopia, Botswana, Afghanistan, South Africa, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Vietnam and Israel.

Their program has helped numerous small businesses in Israel get started by recognizing the nation’s roots in community. As a result, the Global Initiative Foundation has helped these start-up businesses grow and pass on what they have learned through the process to assist others. They started a ripple effect of building leaders who bring nations together in restoration.

The Divine Appointment of Passover

Passover is an appointed time that God created in order for all who call on His name to be at His appointed place in order to receive revelation and restoration throughout the year.

“And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever. It will come to pass when you come to the land which the Lord will give you, just as He promised, that you shall keep this service. And it shall be, when your children say to you, ‘What do you mean by this service?’ That you shall say, ‘It is the Passover sacrifice of the Lord, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and delivered our households.’ So the people bowed their heads and worshiped. Then the children of Israel went away and did so; just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.”—Exodus 12:24-28

The Year 5778 celebrates 19 years of Passover for Curt Landry Ministries

We have looked at how several Church leaders are answering the call of powerful restoration. In anticipation of the nations, both Jews and Gentiles coming together as One New Man, we can expect peace through the reconciliation.

“…so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace…”—Ephesians 2:15

Nothing is by accident, as God’s design is perfect and intentional.

Look at what this year—5778—signifies:

  • The number 5 represents grace
  • The number 7 represents perfection
  • The number 8 represents new beginnings

As born-again Believers, we are new creations in Yeshua—just as the number eight represents. We can look forward to blessings and new beginnings for the nations this year!

If you are unable to join in person this Passover, we would love to have you join us via LIVE stream on March 30th at 7:45pm CT.
