5777: Is Donald J. Trump a Cyrus or a Nebuchadnezzar?
“King Cyrus also brought out the articles of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and put in the temple of his gods; and Cyrus king of Persia brought them out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah. This is the number of them: thirty gold platters, one thousand silver platters, twenty-nine knives, thirty gold basins, four hundred and ten silver basins of a similar kind, and one thousand other articles. All the articles of gold and silver were five thousand four hundred. All these Sheshbazzar took with the captives who were brought from Babylon to Jerusalem.”—Ezra 1.7-11
The entire world, including many in the Body of Christ, is shocked by the recent election of Donald J. Trump as President of the United States. There is confusion in the Church over what we should claim and believe—many are struggling, wondering if Mr. Trump is a Cyrus or a Nebuchadnezzar.
We need to remove the confusion over this issue, because unfortunately, inside the Body of Christ, we are not in agreement on our views due to a lack of biblical understanding of who exactly God uses. We tend to come through a Western religious mind-set where we prefer our presidents to be Holy pastor-types, but that is not reality.
Sometimes God will take a person who is a real mess, put them in place, change them, and then ultimately use them. It’s no surprise to me, because that is my background. So when I heard about what Donald Trump had said and done in the past, I thought to myself, “Well, I’ve been forgiven of saying and doing that type of crazy stuff.”
How many know that we have all have said and done things that are disgusting? But praise God for the blood of Yeshua… that we have been forgiven! And praise God Donald Trump is now reportedly born again.
We need to remove the confusion over our views of Donald Trump because he is now in a place of authority over this nation and we are to pray for and submit to his leadership according to 1 Timothy 2, just as we did with prior administrations. That is our spiritual mandate.
One great issue in the Body of Christ today is confusion as to what exactly we are to proclaim and believe. Unfortunately, that confusion is a huge roadblock to the fullness of the blessings the Lord has for us.
So the question we need to ask is this… Is President-elect Donald Trump a Cyrus, or is he a Nebuchadnezzar?
To begin with, you need to realize that if you are a true Cyrus, the confirmation of that is directly connected with how you interact with the physical City of Jerusalem and Israel.
I praise God that Donald Trump’s platform is pro-life and pro-marriage—that he is going to protect our constitutional rights. This means that he is a covenant man. But please understand that he is only considered a Cyrus with regards to how he interacts with Jerusalem.
Here are some facts…
President-elect Donald John Trump will be 70 years, 7 months, and 7 days old on his first day of office. What are the chances of that happening on the Hebraic year of 5777? You can’t make this stuff up.
Donald Trump is the 45th president of the United States, and Isaiah 45 is the chapter that deals with Cyrus.
Let’s look at what a Cyrus does…
Many people will label themselves an apostle… being self-appointed. It’s quite simple. If you are a modern-day apostle then you operate in all of the five-fold gifts of every biblical office—apostle, prophet, teacher, pastor, and evangelist, plus you administrate. You operate in all of those naturally and effectively because God gifted you to do that.
There are very few people who operate in all of those gifts, but if they have been given that gift, we need to set them in that place, let them work, and get behind them, because it’s a gift from the Lord. No one is naturally born that way… that can only come from God!
So with Cyrus it is exactly the same thing—he is either called for this position by God, or he is not.
Isaiah 44.28 says, “Who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd, and he shall perform all My pleasure, saying to Jerusalem, “You shall be built,” and to the temple, “Your foundation shall be laid.”’”
Cyrus here was saying that the Temple shall be built… and it shall be built in the City of Jerusalem. So a Cyrus needs to be in agreement with that.
Does Jerusalem recognize a Cyrus?
Today, there is actually a new Sanhedrin, and this new Sanhedrin has recently asked Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to build the Third Temple in Jerusalem. This means that the Sanhedrin in Jerusalem believe that Putin and Trump understand the anointing of Cyrus, and they are quoting Isaiah 45 to these two men.
The Sanhedrin have issued a request for the highest representatives of the two most powerful nations in the world to help build the Temple. This is the opposite of the United Nations stance, who says that they deny the Jewish right to the Temple Mount (an attempt to declare that Mohammad is king).
So now you have the Sanhedrin going to the new U.S. President-elect and to Putin, saying, “No… let’s make a declaration that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is King!”
Cyrus, the great king of Persia in the 6th century BCE, announced in the first year of his reign that he was promoted by God to make a decree that the Temple in Jerusalem should be rebuilt (see Ezra 1.2). He did not hesitate!
It is interesting that Donald Trump isn’t even President yet—he is the newly elected President-elect—and the Sanhedrin are already calling him up saying, “Let’s build this Temple.”
Cyrus is the one used of God to rebuild the Temple…
The Hebraic year 5777 just happens to be the Jubilee year of modern-day Jerusalem. June 7, 1967, at 7 a.m. in the morning, the paratroopers went through the Lions Gate, blew shofars, and Jerusalem, for the first time in centuries, was back under Jewish control. Isn’t it interesting that during the 50th year of Jubilee of the City of Jerusalem, God chose to put a man named “Trump” in a trumpeting position to take a stand with the City of Jerusalem?
God is calling on Cyrus through Isaiah, by name, one hundred years before his time to prove to the Persian king that when Yahweh called him he could trust in God. It says in the book of Josephus that Cyrus released Israel when he read the prophecy of Isaiah 45 and said, “I’ll make the decree.” What activated Cyrus was a prophetic word from one hundred years earlier.
Donald Trump has said, “I have felt that God has called me to be president.” God called him… Man did not.
Why would a multi-billionaire, with everything that he needs, want to be president of the United States with a $400,000 a year salary (of which he is declining)? Why would he put up with the death threats leading to massive security and barriers around the Trump Towers in NYC? And then to endure all of his past garbage broadcast all over the news media around the world. None were on his side. Nobody gave him a chance. This has to be God, because this would be too painful in the natural.
The treasures of darkness are being shifted!
Isaiah 45.1-3 says, “Thus says the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held—to subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut: ‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel.’”
Here is the key: The Lord was calling Cyrus and giving him the treasures of darkness, which means that He gave him the riches from Egypt and control over the trade routes—all the finances.
When Cyrus took authority and declared that he would be responsible for the edict of releasing the treasures of Israel—for the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the Temple—then Egypt was arrested, trade routes were re-routed, and everything was given to Israel. So the “Yes” to Jerusalem basically brought about a transfer of wealth from Egypt back to Israel.
You see… the decisions, proclamations, and actions were accomplished via the City of Jerusalem… not Rome, or Athens.
Cyrus blesses both Israel and the Church…
“For Jacob My servant’s sake, and Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name; I have named you, though you have not known Me.”—Isaiah 45.4
There is no reason for the Body of Christ to be anti-Semitic, because when you are born-again you are circumcised of heart, which makes you the Israel of God. So when Isaiah 45 says that Cyrus is not only going to bless Israel, Jerusalem, and the Jewish people, this is a total release of blessing to the Church if they will only embrace it and stand with it. This election result was truly a gift from God!
We are coming into agreement with this election and bringing into the courts of Heaven, in Yeshua’s Name. Because whatever you agree with is what you are going to receive.
Cyrus was the first non-Israelite king to be called God’s anointed…
God used Cyrus for the good of the Jewish people even though Cyrus was a “pagan” king. He was the first non-Israelite king to be called God’s anointed. Moreover, even though he did not know the God of Abraham, Cyrus was anointed to make His decree.
God chose to anoint a New Yorker, Donald Trump, from Queens; and it wasn’t because he was Holy or not Holy… God saw something in him that we don’t see and He anointed him.
Cyrus was called by God but did not know God; even though he did not know the God of Abraham he was anointed to make His decree…
2 Chronicles 36:23 says, “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up!”
I personally believe that Donald Trump found God during the election process. When the pressure was getting to him, he placed an Evangelical circle around him who laid hands on him and prayed for him, and it is reported that he accepted Yeshua as Lord! So he is now surrounded by Godly men like Vice President-elect Mike Pence, Mike Huckabee, and many others.
God stands by and honors His servants the prophets…
2 Chronicles 36:22 says, “Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying…”
Donald Trump is open to the prophets and the prophetic word. There are good prophets of God surrounding him and speaking into his life.
So is President-elect Donald John Trump a Cyrus?
We come into the courts of Heaven and speak this to you, in all seriousness, that if he is and the evidence is true, then we need to say amen and come into agreement and activate it in Yeshua’s Name. And Donald Trump needs to be officially received by the Body of Christ.
George Washington had a vision and a prophecy in 1777 about this season of time. So isn’t it interesting that just as Isaiah prophesied that there would be someone like Cyrus from Persia raised up for that season; George Washington referred to a season of time when God would raise up someone like Donald Trump.
Trump recently clarified a broad range of positions regarding Israel, and he did that only a few days before the election. These are his words and his proclamations and we need to be the judge. We need to discern if what he is saying is like that of a Cyrus. We need to ask: Is it scriptural? Is he a Cyrus? And if so, we need to say yes and amen, and then put the confusion to rest once and for all…
The nature and character of the State of Israel ✡ Israel is the state of the Jewish people, who have lived in that land for 3,500 years. The State of Israel was founded with courage and determination by great men and women against enormous odds and is an inspiration to people everywhere who value freedom and human dignity.
US regard for the State of Israel ✡ Israel is a staunch ally of the US and a key partner in the global war against Islamic jihadism. Military cooperation and coordination between Israel and the US must continue to grow.
Israel’s self-defense ✡ The American people value our close friendship and alliance with Israel — culturally, religiously, and politically. While other nations have required US troops to defend them, Israelis have always defended their own country by themselves and only ask for military equipment assistance and diplomatic support to do so. The US does not need to nation-build in Israel or send troops to defend Israel.
US Congress and support limits for Israel ✡ The Memorandum of Understanding signed by the American and Israeli Governments is a good first step, but there is much more to be done. A Trump Administration will ensure that Israel receives maximum military, strategic and tactical cooperation from the United States, and the MOU will not limit the support that we give. Further, Congress will not be limited to give support greater than that provided by the MOU if it chooses to do so. Israel and the United States benefit tremendously from what each country brings to the table — the relationship is a two way street.
The US and Israel in the United Nations ✡ The US should veto any United Nations votes that unfairly single out Israel and will work in international institutions and forums, including in our relations with the European Union, to oppose efforts to delegitimize Israel, impose discriminatory double standards against Israel, or to impose special labeling requirements on Israeli products or boycotts on Israeli goods.
The United Nations Human Rights Council ✡ The US should cut off funds for the UN Human Rights Council, a body dominated by countries presently run by dictatorships that seems solely devoted to slandering the Jewish State. UNESCO’s attempt to disconnect the State of Israel from Jerusalem is a one-sided attempt to ignore Israel’s 3,000-year bond to its capital city, and is further evidence of the enormous anti-Israel bias of the United Nations.
BDS – The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign against Israel ✡ The US should view the effort to boycott, divest from, and sanction (BDS) Israel as inherently anti-Semitic and take strong measures, both diplomatic and legislative, to thwart actions that are intended to limit commercial relations with Israel, or persons or entities doing business in Israeli areas, in a discriminatory manner. The BDS movement is just another attempt by the Palestinians to avoid having to commit to a peaceful co-existence with Israel. The false notion that Israel is an occupier should be rejected.
Intimidation of university students who support Israel ✡ The Trump administration will ask the Justice Department to investigate coordinated attempts on college campuses to intimidate students who support Israel.
The feasibility of a two-state solution with the Palestinians ✡ A two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians appears impossible as long as the Palestinians are unwilling to renounce violence against Israel or recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. Additionally, the Palestinians are divided between PA rule in the West Bank and Hamas rule in Gaza so there is not a united Palestinian people who could control a second state. Hamas is a US-designated terrorist organization that actively seeks Israel’s destruction. We will seek to assist the Israelis and the Palestinians in reaching a comprehensive and lasting peace, to be freely and fairly negotiated between those living in the region.
Anti-semitism in Palestinian leadership and culture ✡ The Palestinian leadership, including the PA, has undermined any chance for peace with Israel by raising generations of Palestinian children on an educational program of hatred of Israel and Jews. The larger Palestinian society is regularly taught such hatred on Palestinian television, in the Palestinian press, in entertainment media, and in political and religious communications. The two major Palestinian political parties — Hamas and Fatah — regularly promote anti-Semitism and jihad.
What the US must not support vis-a-vis the Palestinians ✡ The US cannot support the creation of a new state where terrorism is financially incentivized, terrorists are celebrated by political parties and government institutions, and the corrupt diversion of foreign aid is rampant. The US should not support the creation of a state that forbids the presence of Christian or Jewish citizens, or that discriminates against people on the basis of religion.
What the US should support vis-a-vis Israel and the Palestinians ✡ The US should support direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians without preconditions, and will oppose all Palestinian, European and other efforts to bypass direct negotiations between parties in favor of an imposed settlement. Any solutions imposed on Israel by outside parties including by the United Nations Security Council, should be opposed. We support Israel’s right and obligation to defend itself against terror attacks upon its people and against alternative forms of warfare being waged upon it legally, economically, culturally, and otherwise.
Israel and defensible borders ✡ Israel’s maintenance of defensible borders that preserve peace and promote stability in the region is a necessity. Pressure should not be put on Israel to withdraw to borders that make attacks and conflict more likely.
Jerusalem and the capital city of Israel ✡ The US will recognize Jerusalem as the eternal and indivisible capital of the Jewish state and Mr. Trump’s Administration will move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
Iran ✡ Despite the Iran Nuclear deal in 2015, the U.S. State Department recently designated Iran, yet again, as the leading state sponsor of terrorism — putting the Middle East particularly, but the whole world at risk by financing, arming, and training terrorist groups operating around the world including Hamas, Hezbollah, and forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The US must counteract Iran’s ongoing violations of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action regarding Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons and their noncompliance with past and present sanctions, as well as the agreements they signed, and implement tough, new sanctions when needed to protect the world and Iran’s neighbors from its continuing nuclear and non-nuclear threats.

Bottom Line… If you’re a Cyrus you stand with Jerusalem!
Donald Trump understands that he is not going to give away Israel’s land for peace, because if you are Cyrus, you protect the Apple of God’s eye, and you protect the Church.
The Word of God says that we must pray for all men…
When Paul spoke these words to Timothy in Timothy 2.1-4: “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Father, God, we will pray for all people in intercession and give thanks for all men, women and children. We decree and declare, as those who have been grafted in, that we will pray for all people. We will pray for all kings and all those in authority over us… even those we dislike.
I am a Christian and it’s okay if I don’t like someone. But I am commanded by the gift of salvation through Yeshua HaMashiach to love and give the love that He gave to me to all men. I am a vessel of love to all people.
Father, God, lead us in quiet and peaceful lives—in Godliness and in reverence for this is good and acceptable in Your sight. For You are our Savior who desires that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of truth.
We decree 1 Timothy 2.5-7:
“For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time, for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth in Christ and not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.”
We agree with the proclamations and decrees of Donald John Trump, President-elect of the United State of America, regarding Israel. We decree that he has been sent to the United States in 5777/2016 as an anointed Cyrus. We receive him, set him in place and agree that out of Zion and out of the courts of Heaven that You would release new angels, Michael the arch angel, and the heavenly hosts of Israel around him, his family, and all of his administration.
We decree that they are off-limits to the attacks of the enemy. We cover them in the blood of Yeshua, and thank you Lord for Your wall of protection around their lives and everywhere they go.
Father, God, in the name of Yeshua, we receive the Cyrus anointing into our lives. We touch and agree that the next eight years are a season of prosperity, great health, revival, and an awakening blast.
We decree and declare, “For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?” according to1 Corinthians 14.8.
Father, God, in the name of Yeshua, and in the wisdom of Solomon, we are not confused. We take all confusion out of the trump. We take all confusion out of the trumpet blast.
And we, as the one new man—the inheritance of God—decree and declare that President-elect Donald John Trump is a Cyrus, who was sent to the United States, to Israel, and to the nations of the world to bring alignment with God’s ways and to break open the gates of iron.
Father, God, this 45th president will break open the gates of bronze.
Father, God, this Jerusalem Jubilee year of 5777, he will subdue the nations. He will lose the armor of kings. He will open the double-doors so that the gates will not be shut.
We, as a nation, will go before and make a way to make the crooked places straight again, so that other nations might align with the United States and not make war—that we would prosper and that the Gospel of the Kingdom would be preached without compromise, and the gates shall not be shut.
We release the key of David and the sure mercies of David over President-elect Donald John Trump. We come into agreement that the gates of bronze would break into pieces and that the iron gates would be cut. We place a demand on the treasures of darkness and hidden riches in secret places to come forth now.
In Yeshua’s name, we decree in the courts of Heaven that the transfer of wealth with the Cyrus anointing, would see that the economy in the United States of America recover with exponential growth. And that Cyrus will prosper and the remnant of God who follow God’s ways will prosper for His Kingdom.
Galatians 6.16 says, “And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.”
We receive all of the blessings of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob into our family. We honor and receive your choice of Donald John Trump as our President-elect and the President of the United States.
Thank you, Lord for saving this nation, for You alone can save. And we thank You for saving Israel.
