Happy Holidays from Curt Landry Ministries

The year has passed by so quickly and as we prepare to welcome the new year we first wanted to say Happy Holidays from all of us at Curt Landry Ministries.

It has been a tremendous year filled with incredible opportunities to sow into the lives of so many. We specifically would like to thank our Covenant Partners who so generously commit to stand with us by sowing a consistent financial gift into the ministry on a monthly basis.

>>>WHAT IS A COVENANT PARTNER?<<<

It is because of Covenant Partners, and many others who sow as they are able throughout the year, that we have been able to increase our humanitarian aid in Israel.

Here are just a few of our growing projects list:

BEIT SHE’AN CHILDREN’S MUSIC PROGRAM:

The afterschool music program was birthed in late 2015, when Curt Landry Ministries was approached by the city of Beit She’an to provide a safe place for disadvantaged children to meet and learn music skills after school, bringing much-needed musical instruction into the school district’s arts curriculum. This was to be a place for the children to meet together after school in a safe environment with caring adults and teachers, while many of their parents were still away from home at their workplace.

HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS:

Having survived the Holocaust, many aging Jews throughout Israel now live without even the most basic of modern necessities like clean hot and cold running water. They struggle to make it to doctor’s appointments, or even to the grocery store. Simple acts of self-care that we take for granted like hot meals, special food for religious feasts, haircuts, and warm winter blankets are denied to them.

ISRAEL DEFENSE FORCE:

The City of Jerusalem along with the IDF, have reached out to Curt Landry Ministries for assistance. IDF Commanders have told us stories of many soldiers who have dire situations at home concerning finances while they are serving in the military. These families, many times with young children, are oftentimes left with the unfortunate decision to pay for housing expenses, over placing food on the table. Although they may receive some financial aid from the Israeli government, many find themselves in positions where there is no money left to purchase groceries… so when the soldier comes home for the weekend, the families don’t have enough food in the pantry.

SAFE HOUSE FOR YOUNG ADULTS:

TODAY, over 12,000 Israeli children are living in family foster care or residential group center situations throughout Israel. Most of these children come from broken homes with backgrounds of sexual abuse, violence, and neglect. When these foster children turn 18-years-old, the Israeli government ends their support, leaving most of these young people to fend for themselves—out in the world without the guidance and support of loving and caring individuals.

What we do through these Safe Houses is not only provide groups of 5-8 young adults with a place to live, but also with house parents and counselors who assure that they stay on track with their goals and dreams—assisting and loving them throughout their transition from residential care to adulthood.

As you prepare to make your year-end contributions we want to invite you to make a donation to one of these special projects. We know as Believers that God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to others. What better way to make a difference than to sow into the nation of Israel and into her people.

Thank you again to all who have sown your prayers and financial gifts into our ministry this year. We are firmly committed to being a bridge of hope between the Body of Christ and the nation of Israel. It’s more than a mission. It is a lifestyle.

May God richly bless you as you continue to grow and develop into your Kingdom purpose in this next year. We are believing that the seeds you have sown will reap a tremendous harvest. Shalom Shalom!
