Be Ready… God is Releasing “Suddenlies” in the Spirit!

We are in a season of inheritance. This inheritance is being released and “suddenlies” are happening. These “suddenlies” are being released in new and radical ways by the power of God’s Spirit. Sudden changes will occur for many of you reading this. These might be new relationships, new networks, and new opportunities. You don’t need to be afraid of these “suddenlies” because they are good and intended to glorify God and open up doors to your purpose.

However, you need to be aware of how the enemy can attack when these “suddenlies” come… through loneliness, sorrow, and stress. And you need to know how to battle against the attacks

How the Enemy Attacks Your “Suddenlies”

The enemy attacks your “suddenlies” by attacking your soul—that is your mind, will, and emotions—with thoughts of loneliness, sorrow, and stress. If you come into agreement with the lies, he then works to bring a case against you in the Courts of Heaven. This is when you proclaim the truth and the blood of Jesus so that you can have a verdict rendered in your favor and release the freedom Yeshua paid for.

Loneliness

Is God asking you to walk into a wilderness situation in this season? The enemy will lie to you, saying, “You are all alone.” Just as Yeshua was led into the wilderness by the Spirit to overcome the enemy and begin to move into His earthy mission (see Matthew 4:1), the Spirit may be calling you to walk into a wilderness too. The wilderness is a place that strips out all the distractions, all the time, tasks, and activities that steal your joy. After you are emptied, God will fill you up with His presence in the “suddenlies.”

Overcome loneliness with the Word of God. Own and declare truth!

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

—Deuteronomy 31:6

“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.”

—Psalm 81:10

Sorrow

In this place of wilderness, when loneliness is pressing in, you can feel sorrowful. This is because you have to say no to something in order to say yes to God when He asks, “Will you go?” Understand this: You are positioned for a divine appointment when you say no to something and yes to God. Allow His hand to hold you up.

Overcome sorrow with the Word of God. Own and declare truth!

“For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; nor has He hidden His face from Him; but when He cried to Him, He heard.”

—Psalm 22:24

“But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.”

—Matthew 5:37

Stress

Through these “suddenlies” in the Spirit, there will also be some sorting that takes place—sorting through connections, relationships, tasks, and activities. This can bring about stress. The enemy will use the stress to hold you back. But know that the Lord will not forsake the righteous.

Overcome stress with the Word of God. Own and declare the truth!

“I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”

—Psalm 37:25

“For the LORD will not cast off His people, nor will He forsake His inheritance.”

—Psalm 94:14

“Suddenlies” in the Spirit and Diamond Development

When you embrace and receive these “suddenlies” into your spirit, you are declaring “Bless the Lord, Oh my soul!” You have agreed to diamond development. What does that mean?

In other words, you have agreed to a supernatural mission; to be cut and polished by the Spirit of the Lord. You are now on a mission for mining truth. God will use the “suddenlies” to sort out things in your life. Some things will be kept, and some things will be set aside.

Your soul—your mind, will, and emotions—will be under pressure like a diamond beginning to form. The forming has a purpose, to bring the light of the Messiah into the world.

The Lord will send you out into a mountain of influence to display His workmanship, the purpose He put in you before time.

Psalm 37 | Wisdom for Dealing with “Suddenlies” in the Spirit

Psalm 37:22

“For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, but those cursed by Him shall be cut off.”

Inheritance is a legal term indicating you receive something from someone when they die. Jesus died on the cross and rose again. When you accept Him as Lord and Savior, accept His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave, you receive the Lord’s inheritance. You are not cursed; you are blessed! Own and declare this truth.

Psalm 37:23

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.”

When you delight in the ways of the Lord, are obedient to go where He tells you to go and say what He tells you to say, then you will find “suddenlies” as you journey forward in faith. Own and declare this truth.

Psalm 37:24

“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.”

During these “suddenlies” the enemy uses your emotions to manipulate you, lying to you and telling you that you are alone. But know this: The Lord upholds you with His hand. He is reaching out to you. Take His hand. He doesn’t want you to miss what He is about to do. Own and declare this truth.

Psalm 37:25-26

“I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; and his descendants are blessed.”

Obedience is better than sacrifice. Obedience releases protection and provision. Stay focused on the Lord, seek His Kingdom, and everything you need will be given to you. Your Heavenly Father is merciful. Own and declare this truth!

Psalm 37:27-28

“Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell forevermore. For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints; they are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.”

The Lord is cutting off the evil, removing it because He loves justice. He is developing you and preserving you. Abide in Him and He will abide in you. You cannot bear fruit without Him. Stay connected, see the “suddenlies” in the Spirit, and bear much fruit for the Kingdom. Own and declare this truth!
