Ask Boldly | Breakthrough to Breakout Part 4
To come into the throne room of grace, you need an open door. That open door invites you to ask boldly for what you need to move forward in your assignment. Because of Yeshua, you have the key to open the door!
The key of David opens the door, and no one can shut it.
“…’He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens.’”—Revelation 3:7
It is time to break the yoke of burden from your shoulders.
“‘For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.’”—Matthew 11:30
The Tallit | A Symbol of the Key of David
The key is the picture and demonstration of authority. When you come under the tallit, you are taking the authority that Jesus gave you to “trample on serpents and scorpions” (Luke 10:19) and intentionally recognizing your authority.
Keep in mind, the tallit is a symbolic spiritual tool. The power is not in the tallit. The power is in you and you are using the tallit in the physical realm to speak in the spiritual realm.
The Numerical Significance of the Tallit
The tallit has what is called tzitzit. The tzitzit is often translated as “fringe.” The Hebrew word tzitzit is the numerical equivalent of 600, a number that represents life in Hebrew.
There are 8 threads (8 represents new beginnings) and 5 knots (5 represents grace) that make up the tzitzit.
We know God does nothing by accident, these numbers are intentional. The numbers—600+8+5—equal 613, which are the number of mitzvot—commandments, or precepts—in the Torah.
The Power of the Tzitzit…
The numbers themselves are enough to leave us in awe, but there is also a powerful story of healing associated with the tzitzit.
In Matthew 9:20-22, we read about a woman who “had a flow of blood for twelve years.” She knew she was unclean and was an outcast. Yet, by faith, she reached through the crowd and touched Yeshua’s garment.
That garment was a tallit, and she touched the tzitzit on the ends. Power went out from the tzitzit—life (600), new beginnings (8), and grace (5) reached her. The result of her bold faith was complete healing.
Ask Boldly. You Have Authority.
As discussed, the tallit represents authority. Ask boldly for it! Placing the tallit on your shoulders is boldly declaring, “I intentionally take my place of authority that Christ gave me. I am canceling any assignment of doubt and lack in my life.”

Isaiah 22:22-23…
“The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; so he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open. I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place, and he will become a glorious throne to his father’s house.”
Shavuot, or Pentecost, is right around the corner. It is a time of empowerment. It is a celebration of the birth of the Church as well as the giving of the Torah. At Shavuot, we are coming together in unity and placing a peg in a secure place.
At Shavuot, you drive the tent peg down and proclaim…
- I am a king and priest in the order of Melchizedek.
- I have authority in Yeshua.
- I will put on my authority and the key of David.

Isaiah 9:6…
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
The tallit represents the authority in all of God’s names. You need authority. Ask boldly for it, because the Lord is calling you to do bold things in this breakout season.
If you are asking for your goals, ambition, and dreams to be met, it is time to exchange them for God’s. You are not receiving because He wants to do something greater. Ask boldly, and with faith, for Him to exchange the spirit of scarcity and limitation within your soul for the spirit of abundance that is in your Spirit.
Anointing Oil | A Symbol of Freedom
Anointing your neck with oil is a symbol of breaking free from a burdensome yoke.
A yoke is placed around an animal’s neck to control where it should go. The yoke is burdensome, but Yeshua said His burden is light.
Ask Boldly to Break the Yoke
You are anointed by the Holy Spirit, which breaks the yoke of sin. The anointing oil, representing the anointing of the Holy Spirit, is a symbol used in the physical realm to speak in the spiritual realm.
In Hebrew, Isaiah 10:27 says that the yoke will be destroyed because of “fatness”—the anointing oil will make your neck fat. This means that as you grow and mature in the Spirit, the yoke that was fitted for your old self can no longer wrap around and control you.
We have all been yoked with generational sin. When the anointing comes, we get larger in the Spirit. The temptations that used to control us will come, but they can’t fit around our necks anymore.

How to Ask Boldly and Pray with Power
This powerful exercise will help you see in the physical what is being done in the spiritual.
1. Take a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle. On the top right side, write Ephesians 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,”
The Lord’s nature and heart are about abundance (John 10:10). When you trade your lack for His abundance, you have… (write this list under Ephesians 3:20
- Faith
- Hope
- Love
- Power
2. On the top left side of the paper, write the words Scarcity Mentality. The enemy is out to steal, kill, and destroy the blessings listed on the right side. He is using mental media manipulation. He wants you to focus on the bad news instead of the good news.
Under Scarcity Mentality write this list…
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Poverty
- Scarcity
- Lack
- Fear
3. Put an “X” through the left side and circle the right side. Then boldly pray for power and cancellation of the left side! This exercise is designed to help you see what God wants to give you and position you to ask boldly for what you need.
Boldly Pray…
Father God, in the name of Yeshua, I thank You today. I am coming to the throne room of grace. I admit, I have been attacked by negative mindsets through mental media manipulation. My mind and my emotions have been in agreement with fear and doubt. I speak to my soul and cancel the fear and doubt. I release abundance, faith, and hope. I bind all spirits of depression and anxiety and come out of agreement with it.
I repent for agreeing with them, knowingly or unknowingly. I cancel their assignments in my life, in Yeshua’s name. Thank You, Jesus, for giving me exceedingly and abundantly above all I could ever ask or think by the power of the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, fill me with abundance, faith, love, hope, and power. I pray in Yeshua’s name, amen!
