Start Right to Finish Strong | Arising and Going Forward in 2026!
How do you start the year so that you are positioned to finish strong? The key is intentional alignment–focused and fixed on Yeshua to receive divine downloads for strategy and instruction.
This means purpose your heart to abide in the Lord’s presence—day by day, week by week, month by month. We begin January in the middle of the Hebrew month of Tevet and end in the middle of the Hebrew month of Shevat—a time to reset and go forward with Heaven’s clarity, a time when God is releasing divine strategy and instruction!
Choose to stay in spiritual alignment with the word released at the beginning of 5786: Arise and go forward!
Divine Strategy Becomes Divine Instruction
This month, the Lord makes it clear that divine strategy must become divine instruction. Doing the same thing again and again while expecting a different result is not faith; it’s foolishness that leads to frustration.
New outcomes require new instruction.
Divine strategy often begins as an inner witness—a God-given vision, a stirring, a knowing. But it’s not meant to remain abstract. You must write it down, translate it into goals, and follow through with obedience.
Know this: When God gives a strategy, it will touch more than your plans. It will shape your values, character, integrity, habits, and patterns.
Start Right to Finish Strong
You’ve heard me say, “How something starts is how it will finish.” This is the theme for January. This month, build foundations that can carry the full weight of the year.
January aligns with the Hebrew month of Tevet, giving you a battle plan through the tribes associated with it: Judah and Dan.
- Judah reflects praise, worship, and prayer
- Dan reflects discernment, right judgment, protection, and rear guard
In other words, build a foundation for the year by worshipping well and discerning well. Enter 2026 with praise on your lips and spiritual clarity in your decisions, trusting the Lord to be your Rear Guard as you move forward in alignment.
Train Your Eyes. Walk in Authority. Receive Fresh Oil for Fresh Instruction
It is a high priority to train your eyes to see in the Spirit this year. As you embrace divine strategy, you won’t just gain direction—you will grow in authority and remain protected as the Lord orders your steps, giving you divine instruction.
Divine instruction always requires faith and obedience to fulfill it. Your faith will reach for what isn’t visible yet, and your obedience will require courage. It is time to embrace Psalm 107:2. You are redeemed, so live like it!
You are not entering 2026 unsure of who you are; you are entering as someone purchased, restored, and empowered to obey. And for this next level of obedience, you will need to contend for fresh oil for fresh instruction—a new anointing for new assignments.
Even after winter seasons, new beginnings break forth: hope will emerge, life will bud, and renewed strength will rise so you can arise and go forward with clarity, confidence, and power.

As you step into 2026/5786, embrace the call toward One New Humanity—grafted into the olive tree, walking in covenant identity. Build your foundation with intention, set goals with purpose. Let’s declare together: Father in Jesus’ name: I reclaim my alignment. I decree that I will arise and go forward. I receive divine strategy and instruction. I will not repeat old patterns—I will walk in new obedience. Let my ways be peaceful and prosperous as I step into 2026. Amen!
