Understanding God’s Ways & How He Moves in Creation

Understanding the liberty of ancient principles that lead to Kingdom authority is the greatest pattern-teachers of how God moves in creation on the earth through…

·         People

·         Land

·         Spiritual atmosphere

It builds faith.

Yeshua asked, “…when the Son of Man comes, will he really find faith on the earth?” (See Luke 18:8.)

We will have to contend for faith, or we will be dropped into the funnel of doubt and unbelief. Your faith and authority grow when you find security in life’s ebbs and flows, peaks and valleys. Your identity and authority are rooted in being covenant co-heir with Christ, a marital covenant relationship. He can’t leave you nor forsake you. Understanding the nature of God and the width, length, depth, and height of His love and Word is key to understanding how He moves in creation.

So then, how do we walk in power and authority in faith? Wherever we put our focus—our time, tasks, and activities—we will get a result. The more you use your authority through…

·         Prayers

·         Declarations

·         Proclamations

…the more you activate your faith, the stronger it will get.

Join Rabbi Curt Landry as he breaks down what it means to understand and walk in God’s ways in faith. The result is a sound mind. This is your inheritance! You have the authority of Christ to cut off anxiety and fear.

Introduction

I bring this podcast to you because I have been affected by understanding God’s ancient principles and releasing spiritual liberty in the Holy Spirit. Ancient principles are the greatest pattern-teachers of how God moves with creation on the earth, whether He moves with people, land, or the spiritual atmosphere.

Understanding the ancient principles of God gives you more Kingdom authority because it builds faith. Yeshua said that when He returns, will He find faith on the earth? Faith will be something we must contend for as His return draws closer.

Faith Comes from Being Rooted in Your Identity in Yeshua

You will have to mentally, spiritually, and physically attend to it. Otherwise, you will get dropped into a funnel of doubt and unbelief. You will have ebbs and flows and ups and downs. But here’s the key: getting to a place of security in your identity—a covenant, co-heir, child of the King—during the ebbs and flows, the ups and downs, the peaks and valleys. You’re not an orphan. You’re not even just a friend of God, though scripture says He calls us friends. What I’m referring to is more of a marital covenant relationship where He can’t leave or forsake you, and He loves you enough to take care of you.

That type of faith comes from ancient principles and Kingdom authority—it’s about understanding the nature of God and the width, breadth, and depth of His Word, which is a journey that you and I will be on until we go home to be with Him.

Where’s Your Focus? There Your Result Will Be

Many believers do not walk in power and authority in their faith walk. So how can they become the strong men and women of God that they long to be?

  • Exercise Your Spiritual Muscle of Faith

Wherever you put your focus through your time, tasks, and activities, you’re going to get a result related to that.  Where you don’t put focus, time, tasks, activities, or attention, you won’t get a result related to that.

Therefore, focus on your purpose of walking in the power of spiritual authority. The best way to exercise spiritual authority is similar to exercising in the gym. You need to use your spiritual muscle of faith. The more you use your spiritual muscle and your authority, which is…

  • The more you pray
  • The more you decree
  • The more you proclaim

…the more you rely on things in your faith then the stronger it gets.

  • Understand God’s Ways

In 2 Timothy 1:7, it says that we should be of a sound mind. If you are experiencing fear and anxiety, understand His ways. See, the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear but a spirit of a sound mind. You don’t have to have all wisdom and knowledge of God, but you need to search out His ways through His Word. If you understand His ways, fear and anxiety break down, faith grows, and Kingdom authority is released.

  • Know It’s a Process

Scripture says we perish for lack of knowledge, and that is true. You could also say we perish because of a lack of understanding of the process that the Creator, Father God, the God of love, the God of peace, the God who cannot lie, takes us through a process. We don’t understand the means to the end.

We don’t understand the process, and that’s why I do the podcast Ancient Principles, Kingdom Authority. Everything I teach is from ancient principles because we must understand the price of getting authority. We must understand, as my adoptive mother used to say, “Perfect practice makes perfect.”

When we understand ancient principles to get Kingdom authority, if we’ll follow the ways of God. Now, people will say, “Well, no, no, God’s ways aren’t our ways. They’re higher.”

God’s Ways Are Not Man’s Ways

Let’s really get a clear translation of that scripture, “God’s ways.” God’s ways are not man’s Adamic, soulish, Hellenized, carnal ways. God’s ways are higher. They’re spiritual.

  • The Higher Ways Come from the Holy Spirit

You have a physical body and a soul: mind, will, and emotion. And you have a human spirit inside of you. So when you become born-again, a fourth element is brought into your physical being spiritually: the Holy Spirit. So you need to see those dynamics. The scripture says His ways are higher. The “higher ways” are higher instructions, that ancient principle of Kingdom authority, which comes from the Holy Spirit speaking to your spirit man to say, “Hey, let’s do this at a higher level. Let’s go to another level.” Without the Holy Spirit, you don’t have a higher way or authority.

  • Coming into Agreement with the Higher Ways

When you are asked to join the Holy Spirit in going to a higher level, your soul/spirit has a choice. It will either rebel against the thought, or it’s going to say, “Okay, let’s come into agreement with Him.” When you come into agreement with the Holy Spirit, a process starts, and your mind says, “Okay, what do I have to rethink in order to do this?” And then your emotions go, “Well, how do I feel about this? How does this look? How does this sound? How do I process?”

And then you have a will in there, and the will is going to say, “Okay, I’m willing to take a risk and try this new thing.” Once those dominoes start to fall from Holy Spirit, your spirit-man, soul—mind, will, and emotions—and the physical body goes along for the ride because now you have to act out, walk out, and do through the physical body.

  • Let’s say you read the Word of God. Then your hands pick up the Bible. Your eyes look and read, and your mind starts to process what it’s reading, and then your soul starts saying, “How do I feel about this?”

But the power of this is that the Holy Spirit and the Word are spirit and life. So the Bible is unlike any other book, and the Holy Spirit is unlike any other spirit because when you get sandwiched between the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, they have a captive audience of your spirit-man and your soul, mind, will, and emotions.

Spiritual and Physical Healing

This “sandwich place” is where spiritual and physical healing happens. When your soul and spirit-man surrender to the Holy Spirit, then the Word starts to go to work in you supernaturally. Whether you ask it or not, it’s just a cause and effect because the Word shall not come back void.

The only thing that voids the Word of God from prospering in our lives is when we reject it because the Word and the Holy Spirit will not violate our free will. It makes a suggestion, telling us what is best, but we get to choose. It says to your spirit, “You know what? You might want to try it a higher way.”

Soundness of Mind

God did not give you a spirit of fear but a spirit of sound mind.  So the Holy Spirit might say, “I want you to have faith and trust in Me. Trust in Me and not trust in what you think, which may be coming from the devil, releasing cortisone in your body, and bringing fear.” You’ve got to come out of agreement with that. You have to choose. Your spirit-man is going to choose fear or faith.

He’s going to choose faith or flight/fight. Which one is it going to be? And that’s where self-discipline and trust come from.

Who’s Got the Best Track Record?

If you study the Word of God and you see the history if you know how God does stuff. This is like a history book (the Bible), but it’s also a biography, a resume of God. And if you look at the incredible track record, it’s easy to see who has the best track record.

If you know God’s history and track record, and how He deals, you’re going to shift over because if you take your personal resume and track record and put it up against His, you’ll go with His plan. Because sometimes my plans have failed. I’ve had many messes in my life like you.

  • God Gives Us His Best

But God, the Creator of the universe, is generous because He gave us His only-begotten Son. That’s really powerful that He gave His best. And then He gives us His Spirit to live in us…

  • To speak to our spirits
  • To transform our souls so that our bodies will walk in obedience to be like Him.

If you are going to have a sound mind, and be free from anxiety, you have to know God’s ways.

Hindrances to Sound Mind

Habitual sin and generational curses play a role in our ability to operate in power and love and of sound mind. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).

  • Habitual Sin: When we choose to knowingly sin and think or say, “Okay, I’m choosing to do this, and I know it’s a sin. I want the pleasure of doing this or just want to do it, and I understand it’s going to bring decay into the blessings in my life, but I’m going to do it anyway,” so that would be habitual sin.
  • Generational Curse Sin: Let’s say your family has a generational curse of fear. So that means every time that you get into a high-pressure situation, you react in fear.

Or let’s say you were raised in poverty or lack. When God asks you to give, things seem to go back into your DNA, and you go, “Ooh, it’s easier if I hang on to the money than for me to sow it into whatever God’s asking me to sow it into.” Even though sowing is going to bring your freedom.

The generational curse of fear and poverty starts to rise up. It’s not something you think about every day. You only think about it when you’re asked to give, for example, if you have a spirit of poverty that runs through your family line. Even if it is just a small amount but a larger amount when the Lord gives opportunity, all of a sudden, that breaks.

So does it affect your peace? Absolutely. So I’m going to end with this.

Closing Prayer…

“Father God, in Yeshua’s name, we ask You to strengthen us to have the self-control to not engage in habitual sin, and Lord, erode and really cause spiritual rust to come into the treasure of our life, getting rid of habitual sin.

“And we ask You now, Lord, in Yeshua’s name, that You forgive us. All of us have habitual sins that we battle at different seasons, but Lord, we ask that Your grace, Your strength, and Your mercy, Holy Spirit, come and empower us to overcome in that area. Can we say amen? Say amen.

“Father God, for all generational curses in our lives, known and unknown, whether it be fear or doubt, unbelief, whatever it is, Father God, we cut it off now in the Courts of Heaven. In our spiritual DNA, we cut it off, and we ask You, Lord, in Yeshua’s name, that iniquitous generational structure that causes feelings and communication in our soul not to trust You and trust the Holy Spirit in us. We break that assignment now.

“We verbalize in the Court of Heaven, in the mercy court, Heavenly Father, Just Judge, we ask You, Father, to write it in Your books in Heaven that we (say your name… I would say Curt Landry) is not in agreement with that generational curse of fear, doubt, and unbelief, that spirit of poverty or lack. I come out of agreement with it now. I seal it in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
