Sukkot 5776 / 2015
“’For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

As we have just entered the new year of 5776 we are praying and believing that this will be a year of great favor and restoration—a time when you enjoy God’s anointing to walk in His ways.
This is a Jubilee year and therefore a Jubilee Sukkot which only occurs once every 50 years!
5776 is very significant because it is the 70th Jubilee year since Joshua and Caleb crossed the Jordan River!
According to Hebrew numerology, 7 signifies perfection or completion in both the spiritual and natural realms. God created all things in 7 days. There are 7 days each week and the Sabbath is on the 7th day.
Sukkot, which is commonly referred to as the Feast of Tabernacles, is a seven night festival that commemorates the Israelites journey in the desert. It is one of the three pilgrim feasts when all Jewish men were required to journey to Jerusalem and bring an offering to the Lord. During this week-long celebration families commemorate this time by building and dwelling in temporary shelters as their ancestors would have done in the wilderness. These shelters, or booths, remind us of God’s protection and provision.
We believe that godly instruction and understanding protects a family’s blessings, because blessings must be maintained and stewarded just like any other gift from God.
Giving is an investment into our future; sowing a seed into soil that is operating according to God’s calendar and instruction will provide the maximum 100-fold blessing!
“Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasant to the Lord, as in the days of old, as in former years.”—Malachi 3:4
Curt Landry Ministries believes in bringing special offerings to God’s appointed feasts: Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot. These offerings have granted great favor to our ministry and our partners.
Each feast offering comes with a promise from God. The promise for the Feast of Tabernacles is the gift of rain, which is symbolic of provision.
“And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.”—Zechariah 14:16-17
Observing the Feast of Tabernacles and sowing a seed at this special time of year will release the rain and open the heavens above your life according to Zechariah 14.
I am praying for you and believing prophetically that as you bring your offering during this year of grace—this Jubilee year—that the Lord would open His good treasures that are in Heaven and give you rain in this season.
The world is in a great drought, and this is simply an avenue for us to release a blessing by obedience to His Word. The Feasts of the Lord are opportunities—great opportunities.
