Spiritual Blessing Blockers

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the

heavenly places in Christ…”

—Ephesians 1.3
Spiritual Blessing Blockers

What are spiritual blessing blockers and how can we overcome them? In order to answer these questions, we need to take a look at the three areas in our lives that can be affected by blockages:

• BODY—Physically
• SOUL—Emotionally
• SPIRIT—Spiritually

We know that the enemy attacks people body, soul and spirit, and that these attacks, or blockers, come to prevent us from walking in our inheritance—in all of the wonderful blessings that the Lord has for planned for us.

Satan uses these blockers to keep us from being free in Christ.

It’s all about freedom! Being in that place of freedom is where we experience God in His fullness… and the enemy knows it.

Unfortunately, very few Christians are free to walk in the fullness of what God has planned for our lives. Let me explain…

In Yeshua—in the anointing—we have blessings in an account with our name on it. The word blessed means to be separated for a divine specific purpose; separated unto Him. God has already released blessings into our lives. Our task is to identify and overcome blockages in order to activate the fullness of His blessings over our lives.

Here is a brief summary of some of the areas in our lives that block us from receiving God’s fullness and blessings:

Receiving God’s fullness can be blocked by a spirit of fear. This spirit can hinder Believers from receiving love from those around us, or from God because of fear of rejection.

I have learned from past experiences that we must not claim our fears—we need to feed our faith and starve our fears. We must not dwell on our fears—we need to starve them out!

When we overcome fear we will have more room for blessings!

Unhealthy Relationships

Spiritual Blessing Blockers

We need to be yoked with those who are like-minded and who are seeking hard after God. If we stay in fellowship with like-minded people, we are more likely to stay free from fear.

When we walk in fear, we tend hide and not become a part of a community of like-minded Believers, which causes us to continue to walk in fear. This can become a vicious cycle.

We must fellowship with light… not darkness. You have to protect your blessings!

Doubt and Unbelief

We need to overcome the spirit of doubt and unbelief in our lives in order to receive physical and emotional healing.

We do not always receive our healing because of the doubt and unbelief that comes when our symptoms become more real than our healing.

Romans 10.17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Many times people will give up on the word. This is where a spirit of doubt and unbelief can gain a foothold in our lives. We must replace a spirit of doubt and unbelief with a spirit of God’s truth—His word!

A Spirit of Pride

A spirit of pride can also block the activation of God’s fullness and blessings.

Many who are prideful are really fearful. A spirit of pride covers up our weaknesses.

We need to know that our identity is in Yeshua!

A Lack of Biblical Truths

Spiritual Blessing Blockers

A Lack of Biblical knowledge, maturity or spiritual experience can block God’s fullness and blessings in our lives.

Seeking the truth with Godly discernment is impossible if you lack knowledge of biblical truth—God’s instruction. Yeshua told us in John 6.63, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”

We need to fill our spirit man with His word!

A Lack of Patience

A lack of patience can create an unhealthy need for man’s approval. When we constantly need approval from others, we block our peace, our relationship with God, and with man.

When we have drive and ambition we must have a lot of patience!

5-part series, Spiritual Blessings Blockers

Impatience comes from pride. Pride and lack of patience are synonymous. Will you still walk blessed when it’s not yet your time?

You cannot manipulate the situation for self gain. But here is why we overcome: “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.”—Revelation 21.7

It’s all about our freedom! You have to choose to be free. Walking in the fullness of God’s blessings in your life is a choice. Are you willing to fight for your freedom?

Remember, the enemy is after your blessings. He isn’t after YOU—He’s after YOUR BLESSINGS!

If you want to learn more about how you can become free from things that are blocking the fullness of God’s blessings in your life, I have recently put together a 5-part CD series—Spiritual Blessing Blockers: Gaining Spiritual Freedom—that will give you the tools you need to overcome the blessing blockers in your life!
