“Then Saul sent messengers to take David. And when they saw the group of prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as leader over them…”—1 Samuel 19.20Yes, it is recorded in many places in the Bible that schools, or bands of prophets, would gather together to learn to hear the voice of God.

As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord. 27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. 28 So now I give him to the Lord. Did you know that there are three voices that can be heard in every Believer’s head?Your own, the Holy Spirit’s, and Satan’s.The Holy Spirit and Satan both speak in first-person, which means that they both can sound like you. That is why when the Holy Spirit speaks to people many oftentimes believe that it is just their own voice, because they are hearing His voice in first-person.When Satan comes, he speaks in first-person also, but he brings unholy thoughts and temptations to you, which can ultimately lead to destructive thoughts and patterns.Therefore, you need to learn to decipher between the three.

God is love… and everything that flows from Father God produces love and is of a loving nature. The fruit of a prophetic word will always be rooted in love and will line-up with God’s Word, His will, and His ways.In the opposite spirit, everything that Satan tells you makes war against who God is.Think of it this way: We are all like a fruit-bearing orchard. Either negative or positive, we all produce some kind of fruit… loving or hostile.Therefore, you need to learn more about the loving nature of God…
Learn to know the meaning of a False Prophet…
Many times we hear the words, “false prophet,” but we need to be educated in what the Word of God says about it.A false prophet is not someone who is wrong, but someone who denies the resurrection of Jesus Christ, denies that He is the Son of God, and has manipulative motives to pull others to themselves and not to Christ.Therefore, you need to know the difference between someone merely being wrong, and someone who is a false prophet.Remember, operating in the prophetic is a journey of failures and successes, hearing the voice of the Father, and learning to discern between the three voices. God wants to give you confidence, and remove the fear from you of stepping out and trying to operate in the prophetic!
