Positional Warfare…

Many times at Curt Landry Ministries we are asked to share key strategies on positional warfare. It is imperative that as Believers we pray from our position in Christ—always asking for clear discernment on what our role is in any given situation.

Repentance is Key…

It is important that you wipe the slate clean before you go into battle. Take a few minutes asking God to reveal any areas you may have failed, and then simply ask for forgiveness. This is imperative, for if we go into war with sin in the camp it allows the enemy legal access to attack areas in our lives.

“The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down.”

—Psalm 145:14

Pray for Israel…

We pray for the well being of Israel on a daily basis. This simple act of worship brings prosperity and peace into the house of the Believer.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you.’”

Psalm 122:6

Pray for the Persecuted Church…

When we pray into the lives of others who are suffering, we reap the reward of the prayers sowed into their lives. As we support and lift up the most beleaguered individuals across the globe who are going through deep pain and heartache for the name of Christ, we are bearing their very heavy burdens with them.

Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.”

—Hebrews 13:3

Pray in Tongues…

When we partner with the Holy Spirit through speaking in tongues, we are able to tap into the perfect will of God. This is a direct line of communication with the Lord and cannot be deciphered by the enemy.

For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.”

Praise…

Praise is our greatest weapon of warfare. I have been to many prayer meetings where people spent most of the meeting complaining about the state of things, but God wants us to praise Him despite tough circumstances. When we worship and praise Him, it lifts us above the situation and aligns our eyes on the truth of His faithfulness.

“I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.”

—2 Samuel 22:4

Decree the Word of God…

The Word is a light unto our feet. Sometimes, although we may be correct about an issue, our own agendas or bias can get in the way of how the Lord intends to move. However, when we speak His Word we are speaking His complete truth and revelation. This allows us to speak into what God is doing while also aligning us with His perfected plan.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

—John 1:1

Be encouraged! As you continue to make your requests known to God, know that He has great plans for your life. This new season of time is one that will bring greater revelation to the Body of Christ of the importance of pressing into the Father. Although there will always be darkness until the return of Messiah, the light of God, the Creator, can never be diminished—in fact, the darker it may appear, the brighter the light will become.

“‘These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.’”John 16:33
