Passover 2023 | God Is Releasing Miracle-Working Authority in You

Description: Are you familiar with the 3 seasons of Moses’ rod? This year’s Passover, 2023, you will discover the 3 seasons of Moses’ staff, or rod…

  • Bondage
  • Herdsman/shepherd
  • Authority

Passover, an appointed time on God’s calendar, is about leaving Egypt and coming out of slavery and bondage. It is about going into a Promised Land with God’s instruction.

The same piece of wood Moses took with him from Egypt to shepherd the sheep for 40 years becomes a miracle rod—a rod used to release the people from slavery and into mighty worship for the Lord.

This Passover, God is not just moving you out of bondage and slavery, He is moving you into the Promised Land by His mighty rod of instruction—by His miracle rod of deliverance and authority.

Discover why Passover 2023 is the year that God is taking the rod—which represents your work for the Lord and your workplace—into new levels of authority.

In this podcast, Rabbi Curt Landry says, “I believe this is the year that God will take the rod in your hand and turn it from a shepherd’s rod to a miracle rod.”

Shalom and welcome to Ancient Principles, Kingdom Authority

Many of you have asked if it is important for Christians to celebrate Passover? I think it’s important, though it is not necessary. It’s not a law, so you don’t have to keep it. Overserving Passover does not determine if you are saved or unsaved.

However, there is tremendous blessings released and prophetic ministry that comes in observing Passover and being part of the One New Man—Jew and Gentile coming together in Yeshua. There is an enjoying the presence of the Lord.

You can join us online or come to House of David. We usually have four to 500 who come, it’s a powerful time, but we fill the house quickly.

Why Celebrate Passover This Year—2023?

This year, the mystery of Moses’ staff will be revealed. This year’s Passover, 2023, you will discover the 3 seasons of Moses’ staff, or rod…

  • Bondage
  • Herdsman/shepherd
  • Authority

The Rod of Bondage

How many of you are familiar with Moses’s rod? If you’ve watched the movie The 10 Commandments, and you see Moses is cast out of Egypt and given a rod that was used to keep him in bondage. The Pharaoh says to him, he says, “Go out and now rule the scorpions and go out and, you know, be the king of the desert.”

The Shepherd’s Rod

So he’s sent out, for 40 years with this rod (see Exodus 2). And he used this rod that he has, this piece of wood, for 40 years he used it to shepherd sheep. At that time, to be a shepherd was a lowly, and wasn’t considered a high-honor job. So he had a shepherd’s rod.

The Burning Bush

Then Moses has the experience with the Lord on the mountain at the burning bush. The Lord tells him to take off his sandals. And when he puts his sandals back on and picks up the rod, the Lord tells him it is time to go.

That’s what Passover’s all about. Passover’s all about leaving Egypt and coming out of slavery and bondage. It is about going into a Promised Land with God’s instruction.

The rod is the same piece of wood. But the wood went from being a lonely shepherd’s rod used to beat off wolves and jackals and to herd sheep, is suddenly transformed into a miracle rod by the power of God. He uses this rod to say, “Let my people go that they might worship the One True God.”

The Miracle Rod

And you know all the miracles that came. He lifted the rod and the Red Sea was parted. All the miracles that God did was through this rod.

So it’s the same piece of wood, but in this season of time, particularly at Passover, the rod goes from being a shepherd’s rod to a miracle rod. The rod is symbolic of Moses’ job. He was a shepherd and used the rod to complete his work.

So your job may be that wherever you work, you may be a stay-at-home mom, you may be a plumber, a technician, a contractor, or somebody in high tech. It doesn’t make any difference what it is. That’s your rod, that’s your assignment.

This is why Passover 2023 is so important.

  • I believe the Lord is going into the seven mountains of influence, the workplaces. He is going to take the rod that you were getting results with at one level into a new level.

Moses was very successful as a shepherd. He prospered, but nothing like what he did when he became a shepherd of God’s people. When God took the rod, in due season, to a new level, Moses became a deliverer. And the increase was incredible because of His obedience to trust in God’s Word to him.

So it was pretty important that that rod went from shepherding to a miracle rod. I believe this year at Passover, God is going to take the rod in your hand and turn it from a shepherding rod into a miracle-working rod.

I believe I’m prophesying to you…

  • At the level of increase that is coming, you’re going to need the 9 blessings of Passover to prosper. You’re going to need the four cups of sanctification. You’re going to need to be redeemed and healed. And take the cup of praise and thank the Lord for what is coming. You’re going to need that cup of Elijah. You’re going to need that miracle. You’re going to need all four cups, all the symbolism of making peace with the maror and the matzah bread and the bitter herbs, all the things that are at the table. Passover 2023 is a time of consecration, it’s a time of inner healing, it’s a time of deliverance.

The Season We Are In

From Moses’ hesitation to go to Pharoah to the time that he actually delivers the people across the Red Sea, is the season we are in right now. That’s why your rod or what you’re holding in your hand, your job or assignment, is where you need a miracle of God working. He is turning the shepherding rod into your miracle-working rod before you move forward.

Transitions

Christie and I left the business world in 1996. We went out on a good note. The rod that I held was turned into a miracle rod. The number of sales in 1996 was the highest number, so it would’ve seemed strange that I left because it was the most successful and prosperous year. My mom raised me not to quit on a down note. So many that’s what people do, they get upset in a job or church or whatever and leave bitter. They think they can walk into a new situation better.

They don’t understand that unless there is real repentance, that bitterness will follow them to the new and the so-called “better” place. So then, finish and finish well when you transition from one thing to another.

Passover, A Time of Second Chances

But one of the greatest keys to Passover is to understand it is a time of second chances. You have four cups or four decrees of the blood. This is a time when you are emotionally, spiritually, and physically cleansed to come into your new season of time.

A Time of Resetting

And so, to answer the question, “Should Christians celebrate these appointed times?” I think it’s significant to get in the habit of resetting your practical plans, goals, and purposes. This is done through emotional, spiritual, and physical alignment and the key time to do this is at Passover. And that’s why I think it’s important to be online with us when we do it.

The other question is about the importance of showing up at this time of the year.

Psalm 23 and the Passover Connection

If you read Psalm 23,

  • “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down behind green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for His rod and His staff shall comfort me.

“And the Lord prepares a table.” The prepared table is Passover. “In the midst of my enemies.” The word “enemies” is the enemies in your mind.

And so when King David wanted to show honor to Saul, he says, “Is there any relative of Saul that is here? I want to honor him at my table.” So he found Mephibosheth, who was crippled. So he had his mighty men go out and get the crippled boy that was an heir to Saul and put his feet up under the table so he could honor him, his father, who was the a past king of Israel.

And so there’s something about putting your feet under the table when the Lord calls that honors the King and honors your past history, and honor is the currency of heaven.

Some ask why spiritual warfare is so intense during the time of Passover? All you have to do is physically and spiritually decide to be at Passover, and the enemy starts attacking. Whether you’re coming here in the building physically or you’re going to join us online (I would encourage you to join online and get all the elements) you must decree, “No matter what, we’re having Passover at my house. I’m inviting my family, my grandkids, my children, and we’re going to sit in front of the screen, we’re going to turn it on, and we’re going to follow along and make the decrees when you make the decrees.”

But once you make that decision, you need to understand you may have technical difficulties or this or that come up. We have nearly 2 of every piece of technology at House of David because we’ve learned that the enemy attacks this way. We had soundboards catch fire when we did Passover in the tent. And it’s interesting that we got the fire out and resoldered literally 30 seconds before we went live on the air.

This is why we have backup stuff. The enemy strikes against things that can strike him. So I think Passover is spiritually volatile to the enemy because God brings deliverance into your life at that time.

A Prophetic Word of Hope

The prophetic word of hope for this Passover is that the Lord is going to transform the rod, what we work with—what is in our hands—into supernatural multiplication, just like He did with Moses. That’s the prophetic word.

So you’re getting it here on Ancient Principles, Kingdom Authority. You’re actually getting it on this podcast. You’ll be the first ones to hear it. So that’s what’s coming. That’s what the Lord showed me. He says, “Tell them that I am transforming their rod of authority into a supernatural power just as I did with Moses.”

Prayer…

So I want to pray for you right now.

“Father God, in the name of Yeshua, I lift up all my Curt Landry Ministry partners, House of David, my Olive Tree partners, and all of you who are partners on Ancient Principles, Kingdom Authority. And Lord, I just thank You, Father God. I release the blessing to be able to have peace in your preparation for Passover. Lord, I put a hedge of protection in Psalm 91 around Passover in your family and that Father God, that you would be able to be delivered from all the ways of Egypt, that you would be safe, that the Lord would release health, He would release peace, that the Lord would rebuke the devourer, that the Lord would open up the windows of Heaven for you in this season of Passover and pour out such a blessing you would not have room enough to receive it.

“And I thank You, Lord, that the nations would call you blessed, and you would be delightsome in the land. And that the fruit of your ground would not be destroyed, nor shall your vine fail, nor fail to bear fruit in this season. That you would have a bumper crop, a bumper crop, and most of all, that you would experience the love and the joy of the Lord in this season, in the midst of all the warfare that’s happening. That you would truly be more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, who gives us strength.”

God bless you, and I hope to see you at Passover, either here in House of David or online. Join us. God bless you, shalom.
