Overcomers in the Last Days

Overcomers in the Last Days

Contained in the final words of the Lord in each of the letters to the seven churches in Revelation are His written promises of victory to those who overcome…

To the Loveless Church: “…To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life…”—Rev. 2.7

To the Persecuted Church: “…He who overcomes shall not be hurt in the second death.”—Rev. 2.11

To the Compromising Church: “…He who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone…”—Rev. 2.17

To the Corrupt Church: “And he who overcomes, and keeps My works to the end, to him I will give power over the nations…”—Rev. 2.26

To the Dead Church: “He who overcomes shall be closed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life…”—Rev. 3.5

To the Faithful Church: “He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God… I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem… And I will write on him My new name.”—Rev. 3.12

To the Lukewarm Church: “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”—Rev. 3.21

When we read these letters in their entirety, one must marvel at thContained in the final words of the Lord in each of the letters to the seven churches in Revelation are His written promises of victory to those who overcome...e love of the Father who, at the very end of the age, still believes in His children enough to know that many are overcomers in the midst of great adversity. He not only offers us the wonderful gift of eternal life through His Son, Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ), but He also offers to he who overcomes honored privileges such as eating from the tree of life, authority over the nations, and even authority to sit on the throne with Yeshua.

What an awesome Father we have! Through to the end of time He will continue to lavish His gifts upon His children—on those who choose to continue to love Him with all their hearts, souls and minds, following Him into the midst of the fire and out the other side in victory.

Many of us in the Body of Christ have been through some extremely difficult and challenging times—through the fire—in the last few years. The enemy has attempted time-after-time to get us to focus our gaze upon our circumstances—tempting us to take our eyes off of God and His promises. But God has always been there, wooing us back with His Word—back to His promises.Contained in the final words of the Lord in each of the letters to the seven churches in Revelation are His written promises of victory to those who overcome...

I believe that through a recent word given to me in prayer, God is encouraging the Body of Christ to know just how much He loves us and cares about us—we who are His overcomers in the last days.

Be encouraged as you read this, and know that no matter how long your battle has lasted, or how hot the fire has been, God is pleased that you have kept your focus on Him—never wavering and always remembering your first love!

“Rise up mighty warriors and take your place in these last days,

for you are this generation of Overcomers.

You are the generation who will say, ‘No’ to the lies of the enemy.

“You will stand and not fall, for you have already fallen in love with your Father

who has taken you by the arm and picked you up,

and is steadfastly and securely at your right arm.

“Your trust in Me has been tested and been found undying and unfailing.

My love for you will never waiver, not in this age nor in the age to come.

“My Kingdom is at hand, and My Warriors are gathering for the greatest display of love

that the earth has ever seen. An Army of Warriors who will lay down their lives

for one another without hesitation is about to arise! An Army that will not grow weary

nor faint against adversity. This is the time and the place for My Army to assemble

before My throne of grace and sit at My feet until such a time as

you are sent out to the battleground.

“I have and always will behold your beauty and grace as you lead the earth

in the splendor and array of your I AM. Go and walk the path,

and drink the cup that I have set before each and every one of you.

Go in the undying, unfailing love of your Father.

“Rise up Overcomer and take your place at My feet and I will lift you up!”

“He who overcomes

shall inherit all things,

and I will be his God

and he shall be My son”

—Revelation 21.7
