For generations, Israel has been a destination spot for travelers of all nationalities and backgrounds because of its religious history. Its incredible scenery, booming cities and historical importance only add to the country's status as a destination spot. But many people across the world don't realize just how difficult life can be for a staggering percentage of the nation's citizens. A recent report from the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) states that Israel is the most impoverished country in the developed world, ranking dead last in poverty rate out of the 34 nations considered to be “economically developed.” The nation also ranked fifth of the 34 counties in income inequality; this means that the rich are very rich, and the poor are very, very poor, and there is a much greater percentage of poor in Israel than you'll find in any other developed country. There are many side effects of poverty that the poor of Israel are forced to endure: unemployment, lack of food, homelessness, etc. For the poor adults of Israel, this means a life filled with frustration, turmoil and anger. For the children, it means a much greater likelihood of abuse, neglect and unsafe living conditions. At Curt Landry Ministries, we have focused our attention on protecting children from the harsh realities of Israel's poverty. Throughout Israel, people have been developing Safe Houses to give children a chance to live and sleep safely and in peace. These Safe Houses allow children to live, learn and grow in a positive family environment that they would never otherwise find. These are innocent children who have been forced to live with the type of pain and emotional distress you see in people far beyond their years. They need our assistance, and with your help, we can make a difference. By giving $150 to Curt Landry Ministries, you make a tremendous difference in the care of the more than 6500 abused and/or neglected children currently living in the Safe Houses established across Israel. This is an amazing chance to share the blessings God has given to you with those who are truly in need of support. For your generous donation, you will also receive a bottle of The King's Oil anointing oil and a gorgeous tallit made in Israel and anointed and prayed over by Curt Landry. Thank you for your consideration. If you are interested in assisting this blessed cause, please click to our donation page.
