News Update | What Does the Love of Yeshua Look Like?
Trying to explain to someone what the love of Yeshua looks like when they’ve never seen it before is something that only the Holy Spirit can reveal. Our human words simply cannot express the magnitude of God’s love. Yet through our actions we can show it, and the Holy Spirit has empowered you to respond to the call and to spread the love of Yeshua.
It is important for others to see what the love of Yeshua looks like. When it is manifested through actions, others are actually able to experience it firsthand. It makes an impression on their lives that can truly change the course of their destiny and eternal future.
As Curt Landry Ministries Covenant Partners, that is exactly what you are doing. You are spreading the love of Yeshua around the world and changing the course of many lives!

Israeli Lone Soldiers and Their Families
What has been the impact?
The way you’ve helped the Lone Soldiers and their families continues to multiply. Doors were opened years ago when you stepped up and offered your support for us to meet the needs of Lone Soldiers by providing meals. Since then, like most things, it’s been a “crawl… walk… run” approach.
Lone Soldiers Who Stay at a House in Jerusalem. This is a house for Lone Soldiers who don’t have a family to visit when they are released from the IDF for holidays and weekends. Here, they are able to come together and create a community and a family.
You’ve provided these soldiers with…
- Bedsheets
- Socks
- Underwear
- Personal care items such as shampoo
- Ingredients with which they are able to cook their own meals
The Lone Soldiers’ Families. Often, there are soldiers who serve but are also under the stress of caring for their families at home. Perhaps their work was the only income the family had prior to the soldier joining the IDF. Or, maybe some family members cannot work due to various illnesses. Whatever the case may be, you have met their needs.
Instead of the soldier having to worry about how to provide for his or her family, the social worker on the base gets in touch with Sam Philipe, Curt Landry Ministries’ boots-on-the-ground liaison (as we call him), and lets him know of the soldier’s need. Then, your giving provides the food the families need to relieve some of their stress.
- What is the prophetic symbolism of these food boxes? One side of the box has the Curt Landry Ministries logo. The other side has the official logo of the City of Jerusalem.
Imagine receiving a box of food, meant to bless you and meet your needs, with a Christian (Gentile) and Israeli (Jew) symbol on either side.
This is truly the One New Man being manifested in the lives of these people. You are revealing the faithfulness and love of Yeshua to them!
Please Read! Because of You, Favor Has Been Received…
Covenant Partners and Curt Landry Ministries supporters, we want you to understand the impact you have had on the Israeli government and the nation of Israel as a whole. As a ministry with the most excellent partners, we have been shown favor from the Lord.
How?
There have been other organizations that have given to Israel, but they were unable to honor the integrity of the people.
For example, other organizations gave gifts and took amazing pictures. But what they didn’t understand was how these gifts were essentially handouts. Through various photos, they created an unfavorable image of the soldiers and their families. Sadly, this made the organization appear to be the hero, not the soldiers.
You’ve given, and we want to respect your gift as well as the integrity of God’s chosen nation.
Because of the unfavorable images that several organizations have portrayed of the people, former Chief of Staff Eisenkot created restrictions for giving. He stated that no longer would organizations be able to “give gifts” to IDF soldiers, EXCEPT Curt Landry Ministries.
Did you catch that? Only those who have favor may give a gift to God’s chosen. That’s YOU! It is because we honor them as God’s nation and you as our supporters!
This shows how God releases favor for His Kingdom purposes when we align with Israel. We minister with the utmost excellence. We steward what you’ve given with the highest honor and integrity.
You see, when you sow a seed into a ministry that chooses to operate out of honor and integrity, you receive great blessing and favor!
We are not the hero. You are. We are not the ones who receive. It is the nation of Israel. This is when we stand together and declare, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that in within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits…” (see Psalm 103:1-2).

Holocaust Survivors
What has been the impact?
Have you ever gone to serve, and as you walk away, you wonder if you have been the one who received the blessing instead of giving it? This is Sam Philipe’s experience with the Holocaust survivors for whom you provide meals through Curt Landry Ministries.
The Holocaust survivor program started out very small, with only a few receiving meals. Today, you feed more than 400 survivors each week!
This is a group of people who have no doubt been through major heartache and loss. In a recent interview with Sam Philipe, Curt Landry asked him to share how this project has impacted him…
My life has been changed… When I started to work with these local survivors, it really hit me like lightning. You know… in the beginning I couldn’t have a personal relationship with any of them. I just did what I had to do serve and help them.
“But you know, they broke down all those walls. Even when I talk to you now, I have tears in my eyes.
“There are no words to say what you, [our Covenant Partners], are doing there. ‘Thank-you’ isn’t a big enough word to express what you are doing there. It’s so much more than the food. We are keeping them alive.”—Sam Philipe

Sam went on to share that he gets regular updates and requests almost daily from those who care for the Holocaust survivors, and it brings him great joy. They let him know about food requests, and he, because of your support, can purchase the fresh goods needed to fix the Shabbat and Holiday meals for them.
Sam and his son, who is a chef, cook for them—exactly what they want. This reminds us of Philippians 2:3-4…
“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”
You’ve obeyed God’s instruction to think of others. The meals you provide consist of the best ingredients and are prepared in excellence.
The enemy of many of these survivors is boredom. Your generosity doesn’t just provide one of the only hot meals they get per week, but also serves up fellowship and joy as they commune with one another.
We were also honored and humbled to hear about how they have become like grandparents to Sam’s children. His daughter often takes her friends and visits the survivors during the week—playing games, singing, and dancing with them.
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving refuge of His anointed. Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance; shepherd them also, and bear them up forever.”—Psalm 28: 7-9

Yotzrot
What has been the impact?
This is another project that is impacting others and manifesting Yeshua’s love. Yotzrot is a program for women who are coming out of prostitution and sex trafficking. It’s a safe place where they can go to learn skills to live a successful life apart from their history, and process some of the trauma they’ve experienced in their past.
This is a unique project because it is fairly new, but the success rate is very high.
Here’s how you are spreading the love of Yeshua.

- Provides ingredients for meals that are delivered to Yotzrot
- Allows the women to cook meals, instilling a sense of pride and accomplishment in their work; giving them life skills they will be able to take with them as they exit the program
- Affords them an opportunity to serve others by providing meals to them or selling them to create an income
As a result, these women are learning to crawl, then walk, then run—just as we all are—when it comes to stepping into new territories and seasons in their lives. They are grateful for your generosity because they want to learn something new and set a different path for their lives.
