Keep National Prayer Moving Forward

How important is prayer? Incredibly. Whether it is national prayer or personal prayer, we can cry out to God when our hearts are troubled. We also can come before God and…

  • Repent for personal sin
  • Repent for generational sin
  • Repent and pray for our nation and leaders
  • Come into alignment and agreement with His Word
  • Go into the Courts of Heaven and declare what is rightfully ours because of covenant relationship and the blood of Yeshua
  • Cancel and cut out the lies of the enemy
  • Break free from the bondage of doubt, fear, and unbelief
  • Ask for physical and spiritual healing

Right now, there is a need for national prayer to keep going.

We invite you to view this video (click HERE) of us on March 15, at Curt Landry Ministries, coming together in corporate prayer. This prayer meeting was in response to President Trump’s declaration of the National Day of Prayer to be held for our nation.

Though we might not be able to gather at this time, let us, as Believers, come into agreement with each other according to God’s Word.

Our national prayer is this:

That we, as a nation, humble ourselves and seek the face of the Lord. We pray that the Lord will forgive the sins of shedding innocent blood, of lying words departing from our lips, and the conception of evil that has birthed iniquity.

“When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”—2 Chronicles 7:13-14

President Donald Trump declared a National Day of Prayer more than a week ago. We are asking all who read this to keep praying and interceding for our nation and leaders.

Our Responsibility for National Prayer

We want to be clear that the sin in this prayer we are repenting of may not be your personal sin. However, it is the sin of the nation. We have a responsibility as ambassadors of Christ and God’s people to pray intercessory, repentant prayers for our nation.

As a nation, we’ve lost our fear of the Lord. This lack of reverence has opened the door for the spirit of fear to take over in the minds, wills, and emotions of people.

Our president started the turn with a National Day of Prayer. We are committed to praying daily that this fear would be removed. We ask the Lord that this great nation of the United States be set free from the bondage of panic, economic stress, and sickness.

A National Prayer to Keep in Our Mouths

“Father God, we thank You for the assembly of Your saints. Father, we join the call to repentant and turn our nation back to You. Lordwe hear You, and we seek You as we ask for forgiveness from not awakening to Your presence and Your call.

Father, we know that You did not cause this, but that You did allow it. We acknowledge the sovereignty that You have over us as the Lord God Almighty—El Shaddai. Let it be decreed in the Courts of Heaven that there is none like You.

Father God, we invite those who are reading this today, Covenant Partners, and prayer warriors alike, to keep praying with us on behalf of this great nation.

“Lord, we are in an Isaiah 59 condition in our nation. We repent of this separation from You. Lord, bring us into collective agreement and repentance of what You are speaking to the Church during this hour.

“In Yeshua’s Mighty Name… Amen.

National Prayer of Repentance

Stop for a moment and pull out your Bibles. Turn to Isaiah 59 and read through it. It breaks the Father’s heart to see a nation, once built upon His principles and promises, to be in a place of separation from Him.

Let us confess the sin that testifies against our nation. Let us understand how far we have turned from God.

“Father God, the heart of our nation is far from You. We repent on behalf of the United States of America. As members of Your Kingdom, let it be recorded in the Court of Mercy today that we acknowledge and repent of our sin and our iniquitous structures. We have not honored You.

“Your Word says that fearing You is the beginning of wisdom. Our choices as a nation have been far from wise. Father God, we have not only dishonored You but have also been selfish and greedy in our dealings with others.

We ask You with heartfelt repentance, to forgive us, Father. The United States has sinned against You and has worshipped mammon.

              “In Yeshua’s Mighty Name… Amen.

A National Prayer of Protection

It takes you through Psalm 91 and 23. Use it to pray for peace and protection over you, your family, and our nation.

“Father God, we decree in the war room for our nation that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in your shadow. We declare that You, Lord, are our refuge and fortress.

“We decree over the United States, that we come into agreement with the words, ‘In God We Trust.’ We pray for a return, to be a people and generation that will trust You. You are our nation’s shepherd. We do not trust money or man’s power, but the power of our Almighty God.

“We decree that we shall be delivered from the perilous pestilence of the coronavirus and the pandemic of fear that is covering our nation.

“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, let it be recorded in the heavenly courts that I will not let my mind, will, and emotions come into agreement with fear, but that I will choose faith. In Yeshua’s Mighty Name... Amen.

Thank you for praying with us. Let us continue to come together in unity and agreement. Pray for the perseverance of this nation and wisdom for our leaders.
