The Attack of Mental Media Manipulation on Your Emotions

You have been at home, cooped up, and feeling trapped. The news has inundated you with bad reports. You must be aware that there is an attack taking place in your home and your mind. It is an attack of mental media manipulation on your emotions.

How Does Mental Media Manipulation on Your Emotions Happen?

Mental media manipulation on your emotions happens when the words you hear and the images you see through the media begin to manipulate and run your emotions. What does this mean?

It means that whatever you choose to focus on in life becomes magnified. Are you checking the news all day? Are you counting the cases of COVID-19? Are you watching the number of unemployment cases?

The things you focus on are like seeds planted into your thoughts. They shape and twist your mind, will, and emotions. They leave you feeling drained.

As a result, you start to lead others, either at home or work, in the direction of your emotions.

In short, the media and the circumstances around you are at war to manipulate your emotions, creating…

  • Fear
  • Fatigue
  • Frustration

This war has disrupted our regular routines in such extreme ways that we are operating according to how we feel most of the time.

Does this describe you?

It is time for you to break free from the mental media manipulation on your emotions and refocus. The Word of God is good seed that reaps an abundant harvest. Plant the Word and get a mighty return.

How to Break Free from Mental Media Manipulation on Your Emotions

The Key is to Understand the Principle of the Sower…

Yeshua said that the principle of the sower would help the disciples understand all other parables. This is because the principle of the sower is about seedtime and harvest.

In short, whatever you sow, you will reap; this is true for your time, tasks, thoughts, activities, and finances

“And He said to them, ‘Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables? The sower sows the word.’”—Mark 4:13-14

Mark 4:15

  • And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts.

These are the ones who hear the message, but do not receive it. Their soil is not prepared to accept the seed that is sown. As a result, no fruit can be harvested.

Good news, if you are born-again, you can prepare your soil to receive the seed!

Mark 4:16

  • These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

These are the ones who hear with gladness, but they have hardened hearts, like stones. As a result, the hurts from their past prevents them from accepting the seed long enough to produce a harvest.

Good news, the blood of Jesus has washed away your sins!

Mark 4:17

  • and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time. Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake, immediately they stumble.

These are the ones the enemy attacks with persecution and mental media manipulation. You will notice that Satan attacks when we are receiving the Word.

Good news, you can resist the enemy, and he must flee!

Mark 4:18-19

  • Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.’”

These are the ones who have the world in their mind. They hear the Word, but is not planted deep within their hearts and therefore, the enemy steals it.

Good news, you are given a new heart in Christ!

Mark 4:20

  • But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.’”

The seed—God’s Word— only produces after itself. But the soil—your heart—has the responsibility of housing and nourishing the seed. You determine how many seeds will be produced from the good soil.

Good news, if you are born-again, you are grafted into the vine. He is the vinedresser, and you can proclaim, “I will bear much fruit!”

How Does the Parable of the Sower Help You Break Free?

When you prepare your soil, specifically over the next 90 days as you move into the Fall Feasts, you will get a 30, 60, or 100-fold return at harvest time.

The seed—God’s Word—needs to be planted into your mind and watered every day. Then you will begin to see a shift in your emotions. You will begin to align with the Word and welcome the Holy Spirit.

We are going to journey together, preparing the soil of your heart to accept and keep the Word that God has for you. You are going to learn to protect it so the enemy cannot steal it.

Start Here… Breaking Free from Mental Media Manipulation on Your Emotions…

Write down how you are feeling right now. It is time to be real. If you are in a mental prison, you are going to get free.

Write down where you want your focus to be. As mentioned earlier, where you focus is where you will go.

Write down your name, followed by “… is good soil!” Then write, “I am going to become a 100-fold soil!”

Speak it. The power to change your life is in your mouth. This means to pray, declare, proclaim, and sing God’s Word. Thank Him for how He will reshape your mind, will, and emotions over the next 90 days according to His ways.

The Word is Your Weapon in an Attack

The Word is your offensive weapon from any attack of the enemy. This includes the attack of mental media manipulation on your emotions.

You need to decide today to trade your fear for freedom and your sadness for gladness. Get your heart positioned with the Lord. You are going to break free by His Word and break into a deeper relationship with Him so that His seed is greatly multiplied as it lands in the good soil of your heart.
