The biblical Fall Feasts of the Lord have become more than a simple mention in the book of Leviticus. In fact, these appointed times, or moedim, have provided a way for Believers all over the world to become rooted in their biblical inheritance and join together as the One New Man, according to God’s Word in Ephesians 2:14.
With each moed [appointed time], the Lord pours out promises and blessings upon those who pull up a seat at His table.
“And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: “The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.”’”—Leviticus 23:1-2

Are You Craving More “Meat” in Your Hunger for Truth?
If you are like most Believers, there is always something vying for your attention. It’s difficult to sit down with the Lord and truly relish in His glory, mercy, and provision.
Paul addresses this issue of being called to move beyond elementary principles so that our faith doesn’t become sluggish.
“And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.”—Hebrews 6:11-12
Yet, most of us are unknowingly drinking milk despite craving meat.
“For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.”—Hebrews 5:12
The enemy does everything in his power to prevent you from pausing for a moment so that you may fully focus on the Lord and seek to be in His presence.
What’s more, Satan understands the spiritual and prophetic significance of the biblical Fall Feasts of the Lord.
Satan has observed Believers for generations. He’s slowly created disruptions in the atmosphere that have disconnected us from our spiritual inheritance. Satan’s motive is to block you from experiencing the blessings of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that come with the biblical Feasts of the Lord.
His ploy has always been to replace the rich feasts with empty, hollow traditions of man.
“‘For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…’ He said to them, ‘All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.’”—Mark 7:8-9
How did this happen?
The enemy has used time and our sin nature against us—putting up distractions all around us so that we lose focus on what actually gives us hope and prosperity: the biblical principles from the Lord that are rooted in our spiritual heritage.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”—Joshua 1:8
What’s the result?
The Body of Believers, as a whole, has become impotent. But individually, the Holy Spirit is speaking to each of us, inviting us to become unified and place our feet under the Lord’s table. He’s asking us to step beyond our Adamic nature and enact His power so that we walk in victory.
We know the weakness we feel is not from the Lord.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”—2 Timothy 1:7
The Hope in Hunger
“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”—2 Corinthians 12:9
When we begin to challenge the thoughts that we’ve become so accustomed to thinking and seek the Word of God as our portion, His Word is released into our lives and the manifestation of His glory is seen by all.
“To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?”—2 Corinthians 2:16
“The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”—Isaiah 40:5
It is good to hunger for God’s ways and righteousness. He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. He wants to meet you at the table so that you may partake in the fatness of the olive tree—your inheritance.

The Prophetic Significance of the Biblical Fall Feasts of the Lord
Each biblical Fall Feast of the Lord has a significant…
- Remembrance
- Blessing
- Prophetic Message
To understand the prophetic significance of the biblical Fall Feasts of the Lord, you must return to their roots and look at Israel.
Israel remembered the days they were held as slaves.
Israel remembered the torturous bondage they were subject to for over 400 years.
Once the Lord freed them from the bondage of slavery by the blood of the lamb, they started their journey to the Promised Land.
They couldn’t move forward without remembering the past. They weren’t to stay there, dwelling on the horrific toll it took on them as a nation, as families, and as individuals, but the Lord instructed them to remember collectively.
Then He instructed them to move forward to their Promised Land.
The Lord established a timeline for the biblical feasts to give us instruction for aligning with Him. These feasts provide a way to…
- Remember the chains of slavery that once held us so we can understand how mighty our Redeemer is
- Meet the Lord according to His divine timeline, which gives us supernatural access to the spiritual atmosphere to receive blessings
- Understand the protection and inheritance the blood of Yeshua has given us
- Receive instruction and direction for the next season
- Anticipate the return of the Messiah and receive Holy Spirit revelation about the season we are in
Each biblical Fall Feast of the Lord has prophetic significance for you and the Kingdom of God—both present and future.
Remember, Jesus didn’t come to abolish the law but to fulfill (Matthew 5:17). On this side of the cross, we can look back and see God’s hand through our entire spiritual lineage that led us to this point in our journey.
