Gatekeeper Interview: Are You Praying for Your City?

Passover is quickly approaching and there is a call for the nations to go before the Courts of Heaven and reconcile the bloodguilt that is in the regions, giving the people an opportunity to be free from the powers of darkness during this appointed time. It is time we prepare our hearts, communities, cities and nations for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”—Ephesians 6:12

What are Gatekeepers?

Gatekeepers are referred to in scripture as necessary to a community to keep order. They were positioned around city gates for the people’s protection against invaders, wild beasts and anything that would put the people’s safety in danger.

A gatekeeper was known for being alert, wise and trustworthy. “All those chosen as gatekeepers were two hundred and twelve. They were recorded by their genealogy, in their villages. David and Samuel the seer had appointed them to their trusted office.”—1 Chronicles 9:22 (emphasis added)

Restoration of the Church

There is no denying that there has been increased animosity, chaos, division and discrimination in the nations. The community of Gatekeepers must come together in unity to turn this nation around. Curt Landry, of Curt Landry Ministries at House of David, visited Restoration Church in St. Joseph, Missouri earlier this year.

What Pastor Tim Doyle of Restoration Church said about Curt Landry’s visit:

Pastor Tim Doyle said, “The eclipse [the supermoon lunar] was a defining moment for us in the city [St. Joseph, Missouri]. Being in the path of totality and connecting with Curt Landry Ministries at House of David, we were aware of what a significant moment that was. They [Curt Landry Ministries] came to prepare the ground… Something happens when you come into a territory and you establish yourself as a stronghold in a positive way. The enemy doesn’t give up territory easily. So, thank you Rabbi Curt and the ministry for the relationship. That was key for us, the relationship that begins to build.”

The late Dr. Jay Swallow and Curt Landry discussed in the last 10 years about a revelation that a release of the first nation’s people would happen when there was a connectedness to Israel in proper alignment.

Together they started to closely examine the scripture in Ecclesiastes 4:12, “Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

The Holy Spirit began to reveal what this meant for this nation. Alignment is about order. The firstborn, a Jew with the God-given authority through the Holy Spirit, must be first to enter in and operate in the Courts of Heaven. Then the First Nations—that is the Native Americans—followed by the firstfruits, and the Gentiles, must all come into agreement as a three-stranded cord.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”—2 Chronicles 7:14

Here God was talking to the Jewish people. He spoke to them FIRST, and then Believers of other nations were grafted into the commonwealth of Israel. In order to heal the land, take territory and have unity and restoration in the Church, there must first be a restored firstborn Jew who enters first into the Courts of Heaven to deal with issues of race. Then there is a release of glory to the First Nations Native Americans and the firstfruit Gentiles.

The One New Man is a restoration of peace among the nations. This was God’s intent, “ …that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.”—Ephesians 3:10

What Pastor Jeremiah Moss of Life Church in Nacogdoches, Texas said about Curt Landry’s visit:

Pastor Jeremiah Moss said, “God moved us out of one place into another where this message could take place and the gate could be opened. I believe it took Rabbi’s visit for the alignment and reconciliation to take place. We are seeing transformation. From how it’s built from January [Rabbi’s visit to Restoration Church] to February [Rabbi’s visit to Life Church], if the pattern continues to take place, it will break open a region and people will look and see the glory and want to know what it is. Anyone that is watching, I encourage you to get into alignment, I encourage you to follow this pattern because the King of Glory is high and mighty and moving right now.”

Both Pastor Tim Doyle and Pastor Jeremiah Moss have seen miracles in their congregations. Attendance has greatly increased. People who have not been to church in years have been regularly attending since the gates have been opened in these distinct parts of the country.

Here is what Pastor Tim Doyle said about miracles:

“There has been increased favor, an inviting presence into our community. For example, we have Sunday night worship called Sanctuary. It lasts about an hour and a half to two hours. We sit in the presence of the Lord, hear from Heaven and repeat His part back to Him—speaking it into the atmosphere. In the midst of that gathering, there was a gentleman who had been in the Sunday morning service when we had prayed for people to be healed. In the Sunday morning service, he had asked the Lord for healing for his back and nothing really happened. So, he left but he wasn’t discouraged. He decided to came back to the night service. He stood in the exact same place. There was a moment during the service that something snapped in his back. He looked around, no one was laying hands or praying over him. It was simply the healing manifested at that moment. And since then he has been pain-free.”

Pastor Moss had similar experiences in his congregation. Here is what he said:

“There have been testimonies from new faces in the congregation. Yesterday, one of the visitors from the Sunday morning when Curt Landry Ministries at House of David was there, told of that Sunday morning she was in her bathtub reading a book. In the middle of reading something came over her. She didn’t know friends from Life Church had been praying for her to start coming to that church. She got up out of the bathtub, got dressed, and went to church. It was the first time in 20 years. She didn’t know why, just explained to her husband ‘something is telling me to go.’ She said she felt love of the Father for the first time in a long time, and that there is something different about this place. There is a tangible presence of the love of the Father. The Holy Spirit is real, we can feel Him. But when we activated the gates on Saturday night, when Curt Landry Ministries was here, I believe glory took all those prayers to the next level.”

Curt Landry will visit New Beginnings Church in Cana, Virginia March 10th and 11th.  Pastor Tim and Pastor Jeremiah leave with words of advice for New Beginnings Church, and for all believing congregations. Prepare your hearts for a release of the Holy Spirit and reconciliation in your community!

Pastor Tim Doyle said, “You can document this and see a thread that goes back a long way. We can’t always see what’s going on in front of you, but set your expectations high. In fact… take the lid off, because God loves your city more than you do. You have to love your city. If you don’t love your city, God won’t give you your city. Ask the Father what is in His heart for your city. Then prepare your people—tell them there is no limit on God. His plans are greater than our plans.”

Pastor Jeremiah Moss said, “The verse that comes to mind is in Malachi ‘He will turn
the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.’ I think generations are crying out for spiritual fathers. We can hear from our biological fathers, but when spiritual fathers speak, children listen. I experienced this with my own son who was in rebellion. Spiritual fathers sowed into him, because of this he asked me for forgiveness and gave his life to Christ. My advice to New Beginnings Church is to keep sowing into spiritual sons and daughters. I believe New Beginnings is already in alignment for the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit.”
