The King is in the field in Elul!
Elul is a season of drawing near to God—a time of soul-searching, healing, repentance, and preparation. And in the midst of it all, our Father reminds us that He is not distant from our pain. He is near the brokenhearted. He sees you. He loves you. He heals you. And He delivers you.
Discover the heart of a Father who comes near when our inner strength is completely worn out. God wants to hear your heart, bind up your wounds, restore what has been broken, and lead you into freedom.
Key Takeaways:
- God is near you, heals you, sees you, and loves you now.
- Your Father God will rescue and save you when your inner strength is completely worn out.
- He wants to hear your heart first.
- We are in a war of give and take—you can take offense or give forgiveness.
- “Healing is the children’s bread.”
Psalm 34 says, “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.”
Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, and comfort all who mourn (Isaiah 61:1–2). Through His wounds, peace and healing have been made available to us.
God still sends His Word and heals. Jesus—the Word made flesh—came full of grace and truth revealing the heart of the Father and making a way for restoration, freedom, and wholeness.
What was broken through sin, pain, rejection, offense, and loss can be brought before the One whose body was given so that His children could be made whole.
During Elul the final month of preparation leading into the High Holy Days, we are invited to search our hearts, release offenses, extend forgiveness, and draw near to the King.
The King is in the field. He is near. Bring Him your heart.
And as we prepare our hearts, we remember the promise of Revelation 22:12–14: Jesus is coming quickly. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
