You need renewed hope. You need to receive a Word from God that restores, refreshes, and renews your mind, will, and emotions.

  • See the hope you have in Christ.
  • Experience renewed hope in your soul.
  • Breakout into this new day with the confidence of hope.

What Stands in the Way of Renewed Hope?

The enemy’s strategy is to manipulate your mind, will, and emotions so that you will operate out of a spirit of fear. Right now, the enemy is using mental media manipulation. This is what stands in the way of renewed hope.

Fear, Heartache, and Deferred Hope

A lack of hope creates heartache. Heartache comes from fear and makes the heart sick. When your heart is sick, you are not trusting God. Instead, you agree with the fear.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.—Proverbs 13:12

Fear is from the Enemy

The hope and peace you long to experience are tied up in fear. Fear is not from God but the enemy.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind”—2 Timothy 1:7

  • Action Step: Guard Your Intake

Therefore, guard the gate of your good intake. Do not allow grumbling, complaining, and false words to come out of your mouth. Wisely choose what you allow to enter your mind and thoughts. Choose to speak life!

“Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.”—Philippians 2:14-16

The Words You Speak Affect Renewed Hope

Words kill, and words bring life. Declare right now, “In Yeshua’s name, this mouth will speak life!”

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”—Proverbs 18:21

Speak Truth for Renewed Hope

Speaking truth and life are the weapons that dismantle mental media manipulation.

“He who speaks truth declares righteousness, but a false witness, deceit.”—Proverbs 12:17

Once you understand the power of speaking truth from the river of living waters deep within your spirit, you experience renewed hope and freedom.

The words you proclaim make a difference. Your words impact the way you think. The way you think affects your words. All of this comes from the food you feed into your soul.

If you consume manipulative media, designed to attach to your emotional weaknesses, rather than the Word of God, which is designed to bring healing and renewed hope, your heart will remain sick. It is time to get healed!

  • Action Step: Speak Life

Declare right now, “I will speak life. I will speak those things that are not as though they were, according to God’s Word.”

“(as it is written, ‘I have made you a father of many nations’) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, ‘So shall your descendants be.’”—Romans 4:17-18

T.H.I.N.K. Differently for Renewed Hope

You have seen how speaking differently impacts hope, but so does thinking differently. When you think and meditate on God’s truth, you can battle the anger, fear, and frustration in the opposite spirit.

  • Action Step: T.H.I.N.K.

Take a piece of paper and write out…

  • T—Is what I’m thinking and saying TRUE?
  • H—Is what I’m thinking and saying HELPFUL?
  • I—Is what I’m thinking and saying INSPIRING?
  • N—Is what I’m thinking and saying NECESSARY?
  • K—Is what I’m thinking and saying KIND?

This is a good practice for self-assessment to help you monitor your words.

If you think about what is true, helpful, inspiring, necessary, and kind, then your words will align with these values. They will also be manifested through your emotions. Therefore, feed on the bread of life—God’s Word.

Putting It All Together—It’s Time to Breakout into Renewed Hope

Step 1: Think about something that has hurt or frustrated you. Perhaps it is a person, a place, or a circumstance. Close your eyes and picture it for a moment. This may be difficult, but the destructive emotion that arises from this thought is what you are going to wash in the blood of Jesus.

Step 2: Write down the emotion you are feeling as you think about this hurtful or painful memoryAgain, you must be honest about how you feel so that you know what you are asking for (see Matthew 7:7), and have it blotted out with the blood of Jesus.

Step 3: Cancel the emotion that is deferring hopeThe toxic emotion welling up inside needs to be cut out of your soul and canceled in the spirit. The truth is, when you watch or consume media that is full of fear, it attaches to your soul hurt and magnifies it.

You need the Healer. Take the toxic emotion from your mind and imagine moving it down past your heart into the place of the living water deep inside. Immerse in the water and ask Jesus to wash it away.

  • Pray…

Father God, I do not deny this emotional hurt, but I repent of it today. I repent for receiving and agreeing with this emotion that is not from you. I take responsibility and choose to come out of agreement with it. Lord, I choose to give it to you. I decree that the only person who can heal me from this emotion is Jesus the Healer and Forgiver.

Holy Spirit, I ask you to come now and wash it away. Remove the feelings of anger, fear, and frustration and put peace in their place. Let the river of living water bring me renewed hope. Holy Spirit, let renewed hope bubble up and cleanse my mind. In Jesus name, I am forgiven and forgive others, amen.

What Do You Do If the Feeling Returns?

Repent early and repent often. There is no shame or condemnation. We are all in this battle together. The reality is the enemy is after our hope and peace. But He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world!

Your weapon is God’s Word. The blood that cleanses every hurt is from the Lamb of God. And the power that will guide you through is the Holy Spirit.

You do not need to be afraid. You have renewed hope in Jesus’ name!
