What does the love of the Father truly look like?
Uncover how God’s love is not distant or conditional, but deeply compassionate, merciful, and intimate.
From the gift of His only begotten Son to His everlasting love that draws us close with lovingkindness, we are reminded that God is love. To abide in Him is to live without fear, shame, or separation.
As we get into God’s Word, let us honestly assess how we are reflecting the Father’s love to others.
- Have we allowed our love to grow cold in a world filled with lawlessness (Matthew 24:12)?
- Have we, like the church in Ephesus, left our first love and drifted from the intimacy we were created for (Revelation 2:4–5)?
Through Yeshua’s tender restoration of Simon Peter (John 21), we see the heart of the Father—a love that restores, recommissions, and invites us to follow Him again, not in comparison or striving, but in faithful devotion. This is the love that feeds and tends sheep—the love that calls each of us personally to follow Yeshua as He says, “You follow Me.”
