Encountering the Father’s Heart in the Month of Av

“Therefore the Lord will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.” —Isaiah 30:18
As we draw near to the Hebrew month of Av, we step into a season that carries deep prophetic weight. Av is a threshold moment—where opposition intensifies, but divine opportunity unfolds for those who have ears to hear.
The Lord desires to extend grace to His people, longing to release mercy in abundance. Even in our rebellion and wandering, His voice is calling–calling us back to trust, intimacy, and alignment with His Kingdom purposes.
This is not a time to shrink back in fear or frustration, but to silence the noise surrounding us and tune our hearts into the sound of Heaven. The Lord is moving—not in the ways we expect, but in the ways we need. He is rising to show compassion, and drawing near to those who draw near to Him.
Av is not just a month of mourning—it is a month of returning. It is an invitation to partner with the heart of the Father, even when the path is painful or unclear.
So let us press in. Let us move toward Him boldly, expectantly, prophetically, knowing that our breakthrough is being birthed in the midst of opposition.
