Now Is the Time for a Prophetic Reset of Your Spiritual Clock
The Hebrew month of Sivan is a month for resetting our time, tasks, activities, and resources to the changes we’ve declared to make between Passover and Shavuot.
We just came to the end of Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, when the Lord poured out divine instruction to stay free from all you were set free from at Passover. During the Counting of the Omer, you spent time with the Lord, seeking His face as you created new habits and patterns that would shape your character to carry what is ahead.
As we enter the month of Sivan, it is time to take inventory of the decisions made during the last season.
Distractions, doubt, and disbelief can quickly cause us to lose focus. Now is the time for a prophetic reset of our spiritual clocks!
Write down 4 or 5 things you’ve committed to change in the last season, how you will intentionally nurture them in the next, and how your identity in Yeshua aligns you to make these lasting changes.

When You Feel Far from the Lord
Just as the Lord has plans for you, so does the enemy. But the Spirit in you is greater than he who is in the world. The Lord commands, “Do not fear!” This is because He wants you to remember He is with you. When you feel far from Him, He always provides a way to return and realign.
Lamentations 5:21 says, “Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored; renew our days as of old…”
When there is a sacred turning—repentance—restoration takes place. Restoration doesn’t involve God’s actions alone but also a stirring of hearts and the awakening of a contrite spirit. He invites us to return to Him, but we must accept the invitation.
Psalm 32 Provides Steps for Divine Restoration
Psalm 32’s instruction to return to the Lord gives us the joy of restoration and forgiveness.
- Acknowledge your sin. Ask the Lord to bring it into the light and confess it.
Psalm 32:5, “I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,’ and You forgave the iniquity of my sin.”
- Pray. Once sin is acknowledged, go into your hiding place with the Lord and allow Him to preserve you. He sings songs of deliverance over you!
Psalm 32:6, 7, “For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You… You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.”
- Follow Him. After you are freed from what was holding you back, follow Him. He promises to lead you.
Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”
- Rejoice, righteous ones! As I’ve said, judgment is a friend to those who desire a right standing with God. Through the acknowledgment and confession of the sin, handing it over to the Lord, it has been judged. And through Yeshua, you are forgiven and justified. Now rejoice because you have been made upright in heart and restored to the Father!
Psalm 32:11, “Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!”
The Word says we perish for lack of knowledge. But this is your season to thrive! This is your season to return to the Lord and get realigned for what is ahead!
