Cleanse Your Bloodlines and Break Free from Generational Curses in the Courts of Heaven

Before you enter the Courts of Heaven to cleanse your family bloodlines, remember these 4 things…

  1. Praise the Lord! Go before the Righteous Judge and praise His holy name.
  2. Repent! There may be brokenness in your family’s line that the enemy is using against you. Repent of the known and unknown. If anything in the lists below resonates with you in the spirit, address them before the Righteous Judge.
  3. Forgive! Unforgiveness in the heart blocks the blessings the Lord wants to pour out. It gives the enemy a foothold in the soul—the mind, will, and emotions. Unforgiveness multiplies according to its kind. In other words, bitterness, anger, and resentment that comes from unforgiveness continues to produce more and more. If this is your struggle today, you are not alone. The blood of Yeshua has the power to set you free!
  4. Remember the blood of Yeshua! Remember that you are able to render a verdict in your favor because you were bought by the blood of Yeshua. When you enter the Courts of Heaven, the lawsuit brought against you through your family line is canceled because you are wrapped in His righteous identity by the blood.

Are You Dealing with Generational Sin?

This list is taken primarily from Deuteronomy 28:15-68, with some additional verses. If anything in this list describes your circumstances today, it is time to take your case to the Heavenly Courts. The enemy can have a legal right through generational iniquities to steal, kill, and destroy. But by the blood of Jesus, you can strip him of that right!

Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed.”—Deuteronomy 28:27, 35, 60-61

No prosperity, missing promotions

  • “You shall carry much seed out to the field but gather little in, for the locust shall consume it… The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower.”—Deuteronomy 28:38, 43

Places for Curses to Land

Below is a list of acts and intentions that gave the enemy legal authority to place curses upon you or your family line…

  • Innocent bloodshed (Genesis 9)
  • Disobedience to God’s voice (Genesis 3)
  • Broken covenants (2 Samuel 21)
  • Sexual sins (2 Samuel 12)
  • Returning evil for good (Proverbs 17)
  • Abuse of authority (Micah 2)
  • Rebellion against authority (Romans 13)
  • Word curses: An authority figure who releases words of judgment without redemptive purposes (Proverbs 18)

The accuser of the brethren wants you to believe his lie that there is no hope so that he can continue to steal, kill, and cause destruction in your life. But we declare, “No more, in Yeshua’s name!”

Approaching the Righteous Judge

Step 1: Ask to approach the Righteous Judge. Put Him in remembrance of His Word and state your case (Isaiah 43:26). Ask Him to cleanse you from anything that does not align with His Word as you repent for what you’ve identified from the list above. Ask Him to give you clean hands and a pure heart.

Step 2: Ask for forgiveness. Forgive yourself and both sides of your family line, all the way back to the garden, for what you listed in step 1.

Step 3: Renounce anything agreed upon or spoken that is contrary to the Word of God. Use references such as:

  • “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”—1 John 1:9
  • “… having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.”—Colossians 2:14

Step 4: Apply the blood of Yeshua.

Declare…

  • That the blood covers sin (Hebrews 9:22)
  • That you are healed (1 Peter 2:24)

Decree that the blood covers each accusation and you are purified, redeemed, and restored back to the Lord and to His purposes for your life.

Thank Him for the blood that washes away the sin, leaving you white as snow.

Step 5: Ask the Judge to strike from the record every word that the accuser is using to bring a case against you. Request that every word is annulled and that He release warring angels to bring restitution and restoration according to Proverbs 6:31, making the thief repay 7-fold, “Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold; He may have to give up all the substance of his house.”

The accuser has lost his rights in the Heavenly Courts!

He is a trespasser and must leave.Continue to pray intercessory prayers as your (or those you are praying for) habits, patterns, and mindsets continue to change through the work of the Holy Spirit.
