What are God’s promises for your life, and how does the Holy Spirit help you walk in them? The Bible reminds us that God is faithful to His Word, that He has given us the Holy Spirit as our Helper, and that His promises equip us to fulfill our God-given purpose.

In 2 Peter 1:3–4, we discover that God has given Believers everything needed for life and godliness through His divine power and His exceedingly great and precious promises. But how do we apply these biblical promises to our everyday lives?

Join Pastor Tim Alsbaugh for this powerful Shabbat teaching, “The Promise,” as he explores three foundational truths—His Promise, His Provision, and His Purpose—and how the Holy Spirit empowers us to grow in faith, overcome life’s challenges, and walk confidently in our Kingdom assignment.

3 powerful truths:

1. His Promise — God Is Faithful to His Word

God’s promises are rooted in His unchanging character. He is patient, faithful, and desires that all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). His promises invite us into a deeper relationship with Him, transforming our character and strengthening our faith (2 Peter 1:5–8).

2. His Provision — The Holy Spirit Is Our Helper

Jesus promised that we would never be left alone. Through the Holy Spirit, God provides the wisdom, guidance, peace, and power we need to walk in obedience.

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things…” —John 14:26

The Holy Spirit guides us into truth (John 16:13), brings God’s Word to remembrance, and gives us peace that overcomes fear (John 14:27).

3. His Purpose — Empowered to Fulfill Your Kingdom Assignment

God’s promises and provision are not simply for our personal benefit. Through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to become witnesses of Yeshua and advance His Kingdom (Acts 1:8).

As we abide in Him, follow His leading, and walk in obedience, we are equipped to bear witness to His truth and glorify the Father (John 14:12–14; John 15:26–27).

Whatever challenges you are facing, remember this promise from Yeshua:

“In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” —John 16:33

God has not left you to navigate life alone. His promises are trustworthy, His Spirit is with you, and His purpose is unfolding as you walk with Him.

Join us this Shabbat and be encouraged to stand on His promises, receive His provision, and walk boldly in His purpose!
