Sukkot! Children’s Torah Craft

Help your children better understand God’s appointed time of Sukkot. The Children’s Torah Craft gives them an opportunity to use their creativity as an open door to have a deeper encounter with the loving instruction of God.

 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”—Proverbs 22:6

List of Supplies needed:

  • 2 Paper towel tubes
  • Paper
  • 4 Craft sticks
  • Scissors
  • Paint
  • Glue
  • Paint brushes 

Step by Step instructions:

MAKE A MINI TORAH…

  1. Gather 2 paper towel tubes and cut 1 of them in half. Use the other tube to cut various shapes, such as triangles, squares, and circles.  
  2. Paint the shapes different colors.
  3. Lay a sheet of paper out on a flat surface. Glue the 2 tubes (the one cut in half) on the sheet of paper, one on each side. 
  4. Glue craft sticks to the inside of the tubes. 
  5. Paint the tubes and write a scripture on the sheet of paper. 
  6. Glue the triangles, squares, and circles to the tubes.
