Purim! Mask Craft
Help your children better understand God’s festival of Purim. The craft gives them an opportunity to use their creativity as an open door to have a deeper encounter with the loving instruction of God.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”—Proverbs 22:6
Supplies:
- Crafts foam sheet
- Scissors
- Glue
- Feathers
- Jewels
- Beads
- Pom poms
- Elastic thread/String

Instructions:
LET’S MAKE A MASK…
- Get a craft foam sheet (any color) and cut out a mask. With the help of a parent, cut out holes for the eyes.
- Get creative! Use glue to glue on feathers, jewels, beads, and pom-poms.
- Let the mask dry completely. Depending on the glue this could take several hours.
- Cut about 10 inches of elastic thread/string, then thread it through a craft needle. Gently push the threaded needle through the mask about 1 to 2 inches from the eye holes.
