You Make a Difference
You Are a Light in the Darkness…
Thank You!
You continue to bring hope, healing, and restoration to so many for the glory of the Lord! You have been a watchman on the walls for Israel and all those who are part of the family of God.
Because of your faithfulness, may the word of Isaiah 62:8-9 be decreed over you in the Courts of Heaven…
“The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by the arm of His strength: ‘Surely I will no longer give your grain as food for your enemies; and the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, for which you have labored. But those who have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the Lord; those who have brought it together shall drink it in My holy courts.’”
So far in 2023…
IDF
You continue to faithfully provide for those who protect Israel.
- You provide food, hygiene products, and more for 40 Lone Soldier families each month.
- You provide food to 87 IDF soldiers each week.
- You provide fully furnished facilities to entire platoons at various times during the month in the Beit She’an apartment.
From hot meals and laundry service to hygiene products and holiday gifts, IDF soldiers are incredibly grateful for your perseverance and generosity!

Boys’ and Girls’ Safe House
Your continued support provides…
- An apartment for these young people to live in and call home
- Friends with whom relationships are built
- Mentors and emotional support to help these young people work through their past and have hope for a future
- Basic needs and much more for these young men and women
Boys’ Safe House
The boys continue to grow, gaining knowledge and wisdom to be on a path of success for their future.
- Elias has been living in the apartment for nearly 5 years. After completing his mandatory IDF service of nearly three years as a combat soldier in the Golani Brigade, he is now enjoying his civilian life and is working as a security guard to save up for college.
- Levi is also about to complete his service and has managed to work and save money at the same time.
- Natanel began his army service as an air defense combat soldier 6 months ago. He is enjoying his service and has started a commanders' course, hoping to become an officer.
Two more young men who recently graduated from residential schools will join the apartment soon.
The fact that these young men have been living together for such a long time has helped create wonderful connections. They are beginning to understand healthy relationships, how they work, and how to truly care for and encourage one another. They are beginning to understand what family looks like.
Girls’ Safe House
Our young women's apartment in Beit Hakerem is getting into a routine with new residents.
Two young women, Yeela and Sheina moved into their own apartments and now live independently. It was hard for everyone to say goodbye, but Yeela and Sheina set an incredible example for the other young women living in the apartment.
- Sheina W. completed her second year of national service at the dental clinic at Hadassah Ein Kerem. She made some wonderful friends there, and her service has led her to consider taking on nursing studies next year. In the meantime, she is working to save money for her studies this year.
- Liel just celebrated her 20th birthday; this is the third year the young ladies have celebrated with her in the apartment. Her IDF service challenges her to deal with authority and all sorts of difficult situations. It has been an amazing opportunity for growth for her. When she is not in the army, she works at a café to save money.
- Tehila has just completed a course in programming and has begun working at the Jerusalem municipality's digital department. Completing her studies and beginning a job in her field is a major and significant step forward for her.
- Shilat joined the apartment just over 6 months ago after graduating from a residential school in the Golan. That was where she first learned to love horses, and now she is doing her national service at a therapeutic horse farm. Shilat is very energetic and hardworking and is trying to save money for the future. She likes to travel and hike and especially loves to spend time in beautiful natural springs around the country.
- Racheli joined the apartment a few months ago. She grew up in an ultra-Orthodox home and maintains a religious way of life. Racheli is now looking for the right place to volunteer and do her national service.
The apartment dynamic is always improving, friendships are developing, and the home is becoming a safe space, creating a warm family atmosphere.
Holocaust Survivors
Your regular support provides…
- More than 500 meals per month for Holocaust Survivors in Israel
- Special feast gifts and meals throughout the year
- Other basic needs that come up throughout the year, such as heaters, kitchen appliances, shoes, and more

Holocaust Survivor Project Expansion
Because of your faithful support of the Holocaust survivors year after year, we have been able to expand this program further. Now we can serve those in Israel and the United States. Through the Community Initiative for Holocaust Survivors (CIHS), we can help thousands of Holocaust survivors in the New York area with food and community social workers to help them live out their lives with dignity and the care they need.
Due to their age, Holocaust survivors can experience isolation that hinders them from getting the care they need. Your support allows them to have…
- Individualized support from specially trained social workers
- Emergency cash assistance
- Legal advocacy
- Basic needs provided
An intergenerational program also allows survivors to share their stories with our community’s young people. This is critical to God's call for us and our partners–these survivors will not be forgotten.
Your support wraps these survivors in a warm embrace and assures them that they are not alone.
Mr. M’s Story (name changed to protect privacy)
- Mr. M was born in Berlin in 1926. He lived under the Nazi regime in Berlin and managed to escape deportation. Then, in July of 1943, he was slated to be deported to Auschwitz. He went underground and lived in hiding until 1945. Today, at 96 years old, Mr. M has multiple health issues, including hypertension, a thyroid condition, diabetes, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and a history of stroke. He has a pacemaker and a history of falls. In March 2020, Mr. M had a fall resulting in a broken hip and left collarbone. To avoid the rampant outbreak of Covid in skilled nursing homes, Mr. M was quickly discharged after surgery to his home, and he and his wife were forced to spend most of their savings paying for 24/7 in-home care. At a time when groceries were sparse and times were so uncertain, this added significant stress for the couple.
Because of your partnership with us, we can work with programs in New York and get Mr. M the help he needs. He has been assigned a social worker who has provided material and emotional support through challenging times.
Mr. M has been given emergency cash assistance grants to pay utility bills, purchase an air conditioner, pay for critical dental work, and portions of his physical therapy not covered by insurance. He now receives weekly Shabbat meals and special grocery gift cards around holidays like Passover.
There are several stories like Mr. M’s, but all have a unique survivor story behind them. We are grateful for your partnership and that we can unite in a vision that desires to see God’s people cared for and loved.
Blessing the Nations
- “In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”—Genesis 22:18
During our trip to Israel just a few months ago, we were able to meet with officials and were asked by the chairman of the World Zionist Organization and in collaboration with the Israeli Foreign Ministry to partner with them to support orphan children in Kenya.
Because of your steadfast commitment to blessing Israel, God has positioned us to be a part of fulfilling Genesis 22:18 verse. Israel is doing exactly what God said she would, even still–blessing the nations!

We’ve met with the Kenyan president, Mr. Willam Ruto, and the First Lady during their visit to Mount Herzl. They have been impressed with your covenant love and faithfulness. For this reason, we have been chosen to partner with these efforts.
This is a reminder of how the spiritual realm works and interacts with the physical. If we want to be successful and make an impact for God’s Kingdom, we must be willing to bless others who cannot care for themselves. When we follow what is written in God’s Word, the windows of Heaven are opened, and opportunities present themselves.
Through this project, 470 orphans in Kenya will be given…
- Pajamas
- Leather shoes
- Hygiene products
Let God receive the glory as we continue to answer the call and partner with Israel to bless the nations!
The Watchmen on the Walls
We can’t thank you enough for what you make possible for God’s people.
As a Covenant Partner, you are truly watchmen on the walls. You hold their peace day or night. You make mention of the Lord and do not keep silent (see Isaiah 62:6).
