Passover! Cross the Red Sea Craft

Help your children better understand Passover. The Cross the Red Sea Craft allows them to use their creativity, opening the door to a deeper encounter with the loving instruction of God.

  1. Gather brown and blue sheets of construction paper, scissors, glue, markers, pencil, and fish stickers (optional). Download Moses and the other characters using the QR code in the book.
  2. Hold the blue paper horizontally and cut it in half.
  3. Cut slits about 1-2” wide and 2-3” long on one side of each half.
  4. Use a pencil to curl the slits up, making “walls of water.”
  5. Glue the blue sheets of paper (careful not to put glue on the slits) to the brown paper.
  6. Use markers to draw fish on the blue paper or use fish stickers.
  7. Color and cut out Moses and the other characters.
  8. Glue them to the brown “land” between the water.
