Immersion Instructions

What to Bring:

• One small totes per person (separate totes for men and women), limited space available. 
• 2 towels: 1 towel in your tote, 1 towel goes with you into the immersion room (please no hotel towels)
• A change of clothes (in your tote) and flip-flops or sandals if desired. 
• Babies/toddlers must wear swim diapers.

What to Wear:

• Arrive dressed and ready in dark-colored clothing (no swimsuits or light colors).

What NOT to Bring into the Immersion Room:

• No shofars, Bibles, jackets, cell phones, or other personal items (HOD/CLM not responsible for loss/damage).

Before Entering:

• Check in with attendant with your tote.
• Go through security checkpoint where your tote will be checked
• Receive a clear bag to label and tie to your tote.
• Wrap your shoes in the towel you carry if not in your tote.
• Enter into a worshipful heart posture

In the Immersion Room:

• An attendant will greet you and store your tote.
• Place your towel on a shelf before entering the pool.
• Give eyeglasses with attendant or put on shelf with towel.
• Foot washing is available if needed (ask the attendant).
  • No open wounds or handicap access to the pool.

During & After Immersion:

• Be mindful of time in the pool.
• Stay in an atmosphere of worship.
• Pray with intercessor if desired.
• After immersion, pick up your towel and go to the changing rooms.
  • Give your name to retrieve your tote.
  • Separate Men’s and Women’s changing rooms available.
• After changing, you’ll be directed to return to the main parking area.
