Standing with Israel

Today, more than ever, we hear in the news of university campuses, corporations, and even major church denominations, joining the BDS (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions) movement against the Nation of Israel. These various sectors of society—both secular and religious—are making the decision to blatantly distance themselves from the Jewish Nation of Israel at this, a most perilous and monumental turning point in the history of mankind. God, in His Word, plainly made this unwavering covenant promise to Abraham and his offspring after him in Genesis 12.3-4: “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” When we distance ourselves from the truth of God’s Word—calling good, evil, and evil, good—we are compromising the Word. We are in sin, and sin does have its consequences. Sin will never fit into the Church. You can try to make it fit, but it is never going to work. God will not compromise His Word. God will not compromise His Word about standing with Israel. Standing with Israel is not a choice—it’s a commandment! “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you be secure.May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.’For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, ‘Peace be within you.’For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.”—Psalm 122.6-9 For the Church to divest (i.e. to deprive, strip or dispossess of property, authority, or title) themselves and sanction and boycott the Nation of Israel—labeling her an ‘Apartheid State,’—is to blatantly contradict the Word of God. When you strip yourself of Israel, you strip yourself of the blessings of God. It is that simple. Unfortunately, much of the Church today has no idea of the time and season we are living in! This is a dangerous time to be out-of-sync with God concerning Israel. It is up to the remnant to rise-up in the spirit of truth—the spirit of Elijah—and proclaim our steadfast support of the Nation of Israel. We have been given free will, and we must make our own decision as to which camp we will belong to. Moses placed a decision before the children of Israel, while they were camped on the east side of the River Jordan: “…I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live…”—Deut. 30.19 Will you join with Curt Landry Ministries and choose life?
