Both the seed to sow and the increase He gives you after sowing comes from Him!

“Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”—Matthew 13:8 (NIV)
“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness…”—2 Corinthians 9:10 (NKJV)
All that Jesus did was in alignment with the Father. Jesus didn’t say there was no need for obedience or observance of the Lord’s Feast, but instead gave deeper meaning to them and the power that they held, and provided us with the Holy Spirit to equip us to live a life that honors Him.
God’s intention with obedience is always to bring us into His presence. The enemy will attempt to counterfeit traditions and lie to us, saying that they are a way to restrict and deprive, or that we must earn God’s love through obligatory acts. We know this is not from God, as this does not bring peace and freedom… but guilt and shame.
God’s heart behind the feasts are pictures—visual aids—of what He has done in the past and the instruction and revelation for what is to come. These Holy Days were, and always have been, about the relationship between God and man. As we partner with the Holy Spirit, honoring the Lord’s calendar during these appointed times, the blessings promised in God’s Word will truly be ours.
As any farmer will tell you, there is a direct link between the time of planting and the yield of harvest. To reap a future harvest, you need to plant a seed today. God honors your trust in Him when you prayerfully sow during the appointed feasts with a pure heart.
When you sow during these celebrated and set-apart times, you will reap abundantly.
When you are in continued communion with the Lord, during these special times of the year, prayerfully ask the Lord to lay on your heart what to sow. There is no set amount. However, you can expect to reap over and above what you sow, so step out in faith and choose to give generously!
