YOU can give them HOPE! YOUR gift will make a lasting difference in the lives of countless Holocaust survivors in Israel… bringing smiles, comfort, and dignity to so many who have already suffered so much.
Their entire life has been a struggle, and they deserve recognition for their courage.
At Curt Landry Ministries, it is our honor and obligation to provide for these brave men and women in their later years—physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Today, we are assisting over 400 Holocaust survivors living in the City of Jerusalem by meeting their most basic needs… and YOU can help us provide for more.
Having survived the Holocaust, many aging Jews throughout Israel now live without even the most basic of modern necessities such as clean hot and cold running water. They struggle to make it to doctor’s appointments, or even to the grocery store. Simple acts of self-care that we take for granted like hot meals, special food for religious feasts, haircuts, and warm winter blankets are denied to them.
Did you know that there are an estimated 180,000 Holocaust Survivors living in Israel today? Of those, at least 70,000 struggle to maintain an independent life—well over 38%.
Many of these precious Holocaust survivors live in low-income apartments and lack the funds to adequately maintain their homes. Oftentimes their apartments are in dire need of maintenance and repair, making life for many extremely hard and unsafe.
Their families and communities were destroyed in WWII, and now they are struggling to live out their twilight years in comfort, support, and dignity.
With scant pensions, few social support networks, and limited welfare allowances, most of these Holocaust survivors live in desperate conditions. For many, they have been forced to choose between food and other basic necessities because of financial insecurity.
The challenges facing these precious people are immense.
As aging and frailty take their toll, the number of Holocaust survivors has begun to decline rapidly. Statistics show we lose nearly 13,000 survivors in Israel each year as this generation gradually passes away… In a few short years, there will not be any Holocaust survivors left.
At Curt Landry Ministries, we are both honored and humbled to have the opportunity to help many of these needy Holocaust survivors by providing funding for plumbing, electrical, and other basic home repairs, as well as personal, quality-of-life needs—enabling them to live out their last years with a measure of comfort, support, and dignity.
Amongst many of the Holocaust survivor projects here at Curt Landry Ministries, a team of plumbers and repairmen stepped forward and volunteered their services, while our generous donors furnished the supplies so that we could provide working plumbing for Holocaust survivors in Jerusalem who would otherwise not afford the repairs on their own.
Another recent program that we offer to our honored Holocaust survivors is providing them with personal care needs such as haircuts and self-care items. These small but practical needs are often overlooked and can take an emotional toll on the survivors.
Hot meals are not something the survivors are blessed with daily. A team of volunteers at Curt Landry Ministries have gathered to deliver nutritious meals right to their doorsteps. This small act of service brings a huge smile and a warm heart to these courageous souls.
Through these and many other projects, YOUR generous gifts truly do make a difference in the lives of over 400 Holocaust survivors in Israel by meeting their most basic needs!
Will you join us to do more?
Our desire is to provide caregivers who can drive survivors to their appointments, pick up prescriptions, and provide companionship. Together we can ensure that each and every one of them has hot running water and heat in the winter.
We can show them they have not been forgotten.
You can rest assured that thanks to our volunteers, every dollar donated goes directly toward materials to make this vision a reality. Your generous donation pays for plumbing repairs, blankets, food, personal needs, and so much more.
“If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.”—Isaiah 58.10

As you sow YOUR seed into this very special project, please know that your gift will make a significant impact upon an almost forgotten sector of Jewish society.
