Doors open at 5:30 PM. \nAfter You Are Seated\nAt Curt Landry Ministries\, we’ve held Passover Seders with a variety of different speakers and sermons. Each gives a personal and prophetic message that witnesses to the hearts of all who attend. \nThe Beginning of the Passover Service\nWe will blow the shofars\, light candles\, and say a blessing. \nA Meal is Served\nWhile the Passover Seder itself is not a full meal\, it is a symbolic retelling of the Passover story\, from slavery to freedom. \nThere will\, however\, be a full meal BEFORE we go through the Passover Seder elements. The Standard Meal Option will be chicken with a salad\, a bed of rice and roasted carrots. The Alternative Meal Option will be a full-sized grilled chicken salad. Both meal options will also include a delicious dessert. \nGoing Through the Passover Seder Plate\nAs a parable\, the Passover Seder plate is symbolic. Curt Landry will walk you through the symbolism of each element. They each depict a beautiful element of life and the sweetness of Jesus that covers it all. \nWhat do the elements on the seder plate represent? Curt Landry will explain further during the Passover Seder\, but here is a sneak peek. \n\nThe egg—Reveals how the Lord is the beginning and the end.\nKarpas (green vegetable/parsley)—Represents new beginnings. DESCRIPTION:The Shavuot Immersion will be on Wednesday\, June 12th\, 2024 at 6 PM CT both in-person and online. \n\n**In-person immersion is included with your Shavuot registration.** \n \nIn-Person Registration for Shavuot 2024\n\n\nImmersion Instructions:\n\nRecommended to Bring… \n\n2 of Your Own Towels (Please be courteous and refrain from bringing hotel towels.)\nFlip-Flops or Sandals\nChange of clothes\n\n**IMPORTANT NOTE: Limited space is available to store your towels\, shoes\, and a quick change of clothes. Therefore\, small totes only are advised to hold your items. Please bring separate totes for men and women. \nImportant Things to Remember… \n\nCome dressed\, ready to immerse—We ask that you please only wear dark-colored clothing into the immersion pool… For modesty reasons\, we cannot allow swimsuits or light-colored clothing into the pool. Dark-colored T-shirts and leggings or swim trunks work great!\nYou will need to bring 2 of your own towels (Please be courteous and refrain from bringing hotel towels).\nShofars and other personal items are not allowed in the immersion room or pool.\nTurn off all cell phones\, please.\nBabies and toddlers are required to wear swim diapers in the pool.\nPlease remain in an atmosphere of worship at all times.\nFoot washing is available if necessary—For public health and safety\, absolutely NO open wounds are allowed in the pool.\nThere is NO handicapped access to the pool\, foot washing is available upon request.\n\nWhat to Expect Upon Arrival… \n\nOnce doors open\, you will be directed to the immersion room.\nBefore you enter the immersion room\, attendants will be present to take your small totes for ease of retrieval upon entering the dressing rooms after immersion.\nBe sure to save back 1 of your towels as you enter the immersion room. There is another miracle is hidden in the story—a miracle of the remnant army rising up against evil in the culture and refusing to compromise their faith.  \nThe Hanukkah story begins during Antiochus IV Epiphanes’ reign around 165 B.C. Determined to expand his kingdom and solidify Hellenistic culture everywhere\, he insisted on being called Epiphanes\, which translates to “God made manifest.”   \nMost of the world welcomed the Hellenistic mindset at the time. The Greeks were highly respected in art\, science\, philosophy\, and mathematics. They thought their ways were higher\, directly contradicting God’s Word (Isaiah 55:8-9).  \nOver time\, Hellenistic mindsets infiltrated every aspect of culture\, and mixture began to take place in the Jewish traditions and customs.  \nYet\, God’s plans were for His people to be set apart—those whom He has chosen as a holy nation\, a holy people\, have always been called out of the culture\, set apart for Him.  \nThe same spirit at work in Antiochus’ time is at work now. It’s a counterfeit spirit that claims to be “god manifest.”  \nThe Father rose up a remnant then\, the Maccabees\, who wouldn’t cave to the culture.
