Be a Blessing, Change a Life: Gift a Child Access to a Music Program
“I will sing a new song to You, O God, on the harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You!” – Psalm 144:9
At Curt Landry Ministries, we believe in the destinies and futures of all children, understanding that they are each very near and dear to the heart of God and His Kingdom. This is why we are so excited to share our children’s afterschool music program in the northern Israeli city of Beit She’an.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT to be able to continue providing this wonderful program to the children of Israel. This is one of many opportunities that is at the very heart and core of this ministry. We are all called to be stewards of God’s chosen Kingdom, and by providing your financial support of this program, you are helping give children an escape from what can be very difficult lives outside of these educational halls.
Imagine touching the life of a child by granting access to resources and mentors, where music is appreciated and implanted into the hearts of children. We cannot do this without your gift.

The afterschool music program was birthed in late 2015, when Curt Landry Ministries was approached by the city of Beit She’an to provide a safe place for disadvantaged children to meet and learn music skills after school, bringing much-needed musical instruction into the school district’s arts curriculum. This was to be a place for the children to meet together after school in a safe environment with caring adults and teachers, while many of their parents were still away from home at their workplace.
The initial concept of the program was extremely well received, and was funded by our generous partners, which allowed us to get to work right away. That first investment was used to purchase musical instruments and chairs, with other money going toward building and classroom preparation.
A true blessing
After the instruments were purchased and the teachers were ready, we opened the doors to the public… and immediately the classrooms were overflowing with children wishing to fill their souls with music!
Within the first year, parents and teachers alike came to us and said they had seen a noticeable difference in their children’s overall enthusiasm for life and learning, along with a greater sense of self-confidence and pride. Here are just a few examples of testimonials:
“This is a wonderful project that you have donated for our children to learn in. I am very happy that my daughter is studying music here… she studied a lot this year and loved to go each week to learn the organ. I thank you all who donated to give us the ability to learn music. It is a wonderful project and I want to thank you all!” – Hannah, Beit She’an, Israel
Your support is needed
Today, we support more than 70 children in this program, but there is a need to more than double this number in the near future to help fulfill the dreams of so many additional children. We get requests every single day to enroll more students in the program, and many children are currently on waiting lists. We need more instruments, instructors, and more capability to expand so that we can continue enriching these children’s lives.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14). By contributing to this program, you are helping bring these children closer to the love of Yeshua by giving them a true blessing to enjoy in a difficult life.
With your contribution, children can:
- Learn how to play instruments such as the guitar, drums, keyboard, trumpet, xylophone and more, as well as how to sing
- Learn how to use their newfound skills in group practice and performance settings
- Participate in group performances in communities in the Beit She’an area (there was a recent performance in Tiberias, near the Sea of Galilee)
Sow a seed
Curt Landry Ministries has worked and sown seed into the city of Beit She’an for more than 10 years now, and are deeply rooted in relationships with the city, the government and the people. We know the soil there is good soil, and that the need is very real.
Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me” (Matthew 25:40). As you partner in the blessings of what God is doing to and through the children, you too will be blessed by God for your kindness, as He promises, “I will bless those who bless you, Israel” (Genesis 12:3).
